Re: One Star Trade Values?
SimBaller, is it just the simulated weekly practices that affect this? If I start an association and play a team scrimmage, will my players drop down to 1 star?Comment

Re: One Star Trade Values?
Simballer, what about that foul bug at the end of games (which is kind of strange since I haven't discovered what causes it)?
Oh, and one more thing: would I be able to get the patch with my console being banned (it was that way when I changed my PS3 for it)?
Can I download the patch on the computer and put it on a stick and install it on the XBOX?Comment

Re: One Star Trade Values?
Just bought the game yesterday and already got the bug. I made two trades at the start of the season with no problem, but after a scheduled practice even Amare is 1 star. Glad to hear the 2K devs are already working on it though. Would be a nice change from EA games that never get fixed.Last edited by stevethepirate; 10-09-2010, 02:23 PM.Comment

Re: One Star Trade Values?
Some additional info on the matter:
I simmed (with autosave disabled, of course) my first season just to see if the trade values recover after one season, and they did.
So you can basically not schedule any practices until the trade deadline and then it's ok to use them (end of the season and playoffs) to prevent the bug to activate again in the 2nd year.Comment

Re: One Star Trade Values?
What if you scheduled some practices (start of the first week of the season) but none have happened yet. Can you cancel them before they occur so you avoid the bug?Now Playing on PS5:

Re: One Star Trade Values?
I have RESOLVED THE BUG!!!
The only way to resolve the bug without getting the patch is to edit the player and save the changes.
Try this: when you have all your players at one star (the bug occurs), enter the roster management, choose one player and choose edit player. Once you're in the edit player mode, just save the changes without changing anything.
Go back to the trade screen and see your player's real trade value OK again! You need to do this to the players you want to trade etc, and it works.
You can thank me laterComment

Re: One Star Trade Values?
I discovered it by accident, I edited Vince Carter to remove his side windmill dunk because it has a bug and the basket doesn't count when he does it, and then when I went to the trade screen he had 4 stars, and the other had all one star. So I know the only thing I did for Vince was modifying him.
Then I tried with other players and it worked. So there you have it.Comment

Re: One Star Trade Values?
to those who are experiencing the intentional foul glitch, that is caused by running a scrimmage. to avoid this, don't run scrimmage. sad thing is, you have to start your association over to fix this bug.Comment
