I also had to up their tempo and fast break sliders because they were too slow....And I actually made them favor guards or forwards more since they don't have Amare anymore and the result is Nash and Richardson especially putting up great numbers....

I really love checking the stats and league leaders because with the changes ive made, the season plays out more dynamically.....Its really fun deciding who should be the 6th men on the team...its not always good to make the highest rated bench player 6th man....I usually make the best bench scorer the 6th man...sometimes their happy with that role, sometimes their not.....If his number's suffer because of his rating drop because of unhappy morale, I made change his role or trade him...But if he's putting up good numbers as a 6th man and the team is winning, Ill leave him...

Cool...I can understand the 6th man thing. I paly with the timberwolves, and have Beasley coming of the bench averaging near a double double. Alot of ppl ask why I don't start him along side K-Love, but no need with the scoring I can get with Love, Wes Johnson, Flynn, and Webster now in my starting 5.

Soo you have to manually draft every player?? I really don't know if I wanna do that, but if the cpu sucks at drafting it would help. I'm on the fence about using 30 teams. Maybe I'll start one up, and sim a little at a time and see how much of a pain it is. I have player roles/morale off so I don't have to worry about the players being unhappy and all.

yeah u gotta draft every player but its only 2 rounds, unlike the NFL, lol...Plus if you want, u can just use the mock draft and just draft the player that that team needs most....Check the teams rosters before the draft and just see where they're weak at...

I believe I was just overwhelmed by it all in the beginning. When you do trades and such, how do you know if you're cheating a team or not?

Also, what do you do about blockbuster trades? Like the Carmelo Anthony trade that almost went down this year?

as it stands, the games are tied in to the real NBA TODAY Living Rosters.. which leads to a BLACK SCREEN once it becomes unsync'd with the nba today

My X-Box isn't even hooked up to online and it works just fine. My Xbox hasn't synced with NBA Today once and works just fine

That or I just basically use my common sense....Like Shannon Brown was unhappy, and remained unhappy thinking he should be a starter....He gets plenty of min for a role player and he's still unhappy so I found a team that needed a 74 rated SG, can't remember the team....In return, I'm pretty sure the Lakers got a good PG rated around the same...

I make sure the contracts are in a reasonable vicinity of each other, they don't have to match up exactly for me, as long as I don't make it too unrealistic I think its fine...

I don't think you can make 3 team trades(or can you?)...I haven't made any huge superstar trades yet just a lot of trades between good players...The best player thats switched teams in my assoc is probably mo williams.....Keep in mind the cpu will still make trades on its own but I turn cpu trading off and trade override on so I can make any trade I want....

sometimes at first, I would get tired of the message popping up everytime someone got injured and having to change their minutes....I only change their minutes if their injury significantly drops their rating...If not, I'll check the rotation screen real quick(it takes u too it automatically after the message pops up askin if u want to change the players minutes, etc.)....I've done it so long now that its really quick for me to do all this....Then when I get to my game, I play it...

But by doing this, its actually immersing me into the season so much that its like playing FF or Mass Effect or something and leveling up, lol...The season is all playing out according to however I customize it which I think is great....

Ok I figured out the whole intentional foul glitch... If you change your coach settings to manual while in association mode it will disable the intenional foul.

No...it doesn't pop up as much as you'd think....As the season goes on, of course more will occur but a lot of times, its the same players getting hurt and over and over, lol...So I already know sometimes its just a nagging injury that guys' already had and I don't even go the rotation screen, I just hit leave rotation as is and keep simming till my game....Injuries are on 45 in my sliders I believe....I can sim 6-7 games on avg before running into an injury popup...

actually my injury rate is on 50 with severity being on 45...Most of the injuries are day to day, 1-2 weeks with a few 4-6 week injuries sprinkled in....Thats it so far, nobody out for the season...
