Paul Pierce shot is IMPOSSIBLE!!!

Omgg i swear this is sooo frustrating!!! I cant seem to hit one shot with pierce at all.. and please dont say go to practice mode or hold the shot stick longer.. iv tried that for 2days straight still NOTHING... Im missing wide open shots!! and boston is the only team I enjoy playing with, been my team since 2K8 and i do not plan on switching... but anyone has ideas??? how can i improve my shot, i swear its IMPOSSIBLE to hit shots in game mostly, practice i can hit em but in game its HARD man

for me i never been able to do anything with Paul until the 4th quarter, so just wait til the 4th quarter and try using him because he's the best 4th quarter player i have played wit

I haven't practice with him that much. However, from the shot's I did attempt with him, I believe that his release point is a little sooner than most.

Yeah true, the best way would be to play a few games and only control PP. That way you are only gettting used to his shot and how it works. Once he can hit with his shot then go back to controlling all players.

Just bring him to the practice gym freestyle and shoot with him until you get his shot right. They should have the little msgs that tell u if your releasing too early or late.

My problem with him is that his stance always pushes his foot over the 3pt line so I always end up taking deep 2's.

Hmm think I was running across the same problem myself. They lock into there jumper when you are close to the three zone so this might be a bigger problem.

yeah his shot rythm is odd.

his 3 pt shot release is waaaaaay quicker than you think it would be because its a slow set shot. but go into practice mode, its a real quick release.

on the bright side, at least he looks like paul pierce this year..

yeah he has three shoots, 2 from beyond the arc and one for mid range, the slow shot from 3 is the one with the quickest release point that is the issue alot of people are having, just go to practice I can hit better not but it is not perfect for me either.

He's tough to get down but I'm willing to bet you need to let the shot go sooner. His shot release is incredibly quick if you do it properly, you pretty much have to let go no sooner than you initiate. It took a bit of work but I can put up 20+ with him now.
