    Re: 2k10 or 2k11

LOL @ people thinking its strange to Hate Michael Jordan.

I didnt Like Michael Jordan (and no im not a Knicks fan, Cavs fan or any type of scorn dude that would hate him cuz he trounced my team). I've been a Laker fan since I started watching basketball religiously (1996)...we wasnt good enough to get trounced in the playoffs by the bulls...

I just Hated him, Hated his d*ckriding 10x more.

I didnt like dude cuz I thought he was Overrated (post-comeback)... and I didnt understand why they s***ed on Pippen. Pippen was the WHEELS behind those teams (especially the 2nd 3peat.)

I respected him though and liked him when he play for the Wiz. but the d*ckridetry is coming back almost to the levels of when he played.

Dude is WAY Overrated in this game.

How the F*** is Jordan 99 overall in 1998.....?

he's better than Lebron, Kobe and Wade in 1998?

    LOL

but the game is an upgrade.... reguardless, its a must cop.

      I freaking hate Michael Jordan.

I've played more games as MJ and the old Bulls than any other team in the game.

I'm telling you, it sounds stupid but it is amazingly fun.

What's wrong with him disliking Jordan? I dislike Tom Brady and I still like football games.

This is not even a real question, 2k11 crushes 2k10 in every way, ever way.

              Sorry but that is bull.
Not bull at all. Do you REALLY expect them to find and/or negotiate with secondary players?

Highly naive to think it would be possible.

For real. Thats a lot of guys for 2K to hunt down.

And some of those guys dont' matter one bit. Besides Vinny Johnson, John Salley, and Rick Mahorn I can't remember another player from the Bad Boys bench. But I'm still enjoying playing 'em.

Get 2K11 for sure. It far outstrips 2K10 in every conceivable way. Also @ the recent comments, it would be too hard to get every player on every classic team they put in. Just be happy they went this far to get the players they did.

Wow, no offense, but you must be pretty lame if you hate Jordan. What could you possibly not like about him? In my opinion he was a master of the game, the greatest of all time and the #1 athlete of all time in any sport. He was also the most exciting player to watch, I simply can't comprehend what reason you have to dislike His Airness.

                      My main beef with Jordan...

He just didn't do anything with his celebrity but chase tail, play golf, and gamble. Really I'm sure there was more to him than that but thats what he portrayed. Its so easy to be much more. People will ignore the bad stuff so all you have to do is something, say something, have an opinion. Craig Hodges brought that up and the next thing you know he was out of the league while he was best three point shooter in the game. He even won the three point contest without a jersey.

The thing is, 1998 might have been his most impressive year. His skills were declining yet he led a team that was actually pretty bad to a Championship. Pippen was hurt most of the season and was barely getting through the playoffs with a wrecked back. Rodman's production fell off the face of the Earth. For the talk of how bad Lebron's supporting cast was, his team's starting lineup had a higher PER than Jordan's.

The Pacers and Jazz were better teams than the Bulls that year and yet he had some huge clutch moments to win the Championship. Revisionist history makes us look back and think Jordan had it easy during this run, but a few of those years he sort of took home a title against good competition on his own.

Lebron is a phenomenal talent and probably has more talent than Jordan ever had from a physical standpoint. But he's not a winner as cliche as that sounds. He got knocked out by a lower seed two consecutive years (something that never happened to Jordan). He didn't make his teammates better and didn't excel in the biggest moments. I understand what you're saying about ratings as a 25 year old Lebron would probably beat a 34 year old Jordan 1-on-1, but put MJ on that Cavs team last year and the have a ring.

I'm amazed at the people in here saying Jordan is overrated...

I mean, if you hate him, then that's fine. but to downplay his talent? that's just absurd!

I despise Kobe Bryant..but dude is incredible. Arguably the greatest offensive player to ever lace up a pair of kicks.

Glad to see such great reviews about 2K11 in comparison to 2K10. I was sort of on the fence about whether or not to buy it. I figured the only reason I'd be buying it would be to play with Jordan in that mode and in exhibition. But, if they release a patch to fix association, I could play Jordan Challenge until the patch, then go into my association. Glad to see that the game itself is far and away superior to 2K10.
