I would love to play with the 01-02 Kings. That is my favorite non-Celtics team of all-time, without a doubt. Prime C-Webb, Bibby on the come-up, Vlade, Turkoglu starting to make his name, Bobby Jackson, Peja, Christie, etc. Loved that team. Best overall passing team I have ever seen in the NBA, so fun to watch.

Second on my list: '94 or '95 Rockets.

The good news, and I may have said this before in this thread about another squad, is that enough players are still present in 2K to create one's own version of the '02 Kings. There was a great downloadable C-Webb on 2KShare last year. Vlade's also present this season (on the '91 Lakers). In addition, I can see Bobby Jackson being relatively easy to create (he kind of looks like a generic created player with level 1 skin). I think Doug Christie would be the toughest replicate.

Super true. My hope is the response to including the retro teams this year will be positive enough and widespread enough to encourage 2K to not only retain as many classic teams as possible, but to also expand upon this idea. Quite honestly, classic teams are brimming with possibilities and it's almost completely untapped. I feel as though it's one aspect of sports gaming that is severly underestimated by most developers. It can be a true power feature. A game changer.
