Its not actually that horrible to do the change. Just change the team you're using, and whatever team you're going to play change them. Eventually all teams will be done.

I changed the run plays sliders for all the teams to 100. That really don't solve the problem when a play breaks down. Because even at 100 run plays slider, if a play breaks down, the individual players AI would go to freelance mode. And in freelance mode damn near every player isolation slider is maxed out.

That is where you will see them just standing there like a bump on a log.

temporary solution there is to just call another play. No, not to execute it but to benefit from the player movement that is happening. Quick plays work fine enough.
