After debating for a bit I decided on the Cavs (I like using teams that have never won a title and are currently at the bottom of the league and the Cavs seem to edge out the Clippers and the Pistons since the Clip have good young talent and the Pistons have at least won it all)

I want to get rid of Jamison and am looking for some realistic trade advice. I am not a fan of his in real life nor can I use him on the game. I also want to get rid of Parker and willing to give Sessions and a SF in a trade.

I definitely am going to go get Corey Brewer for the opposite reasons I am trading Jamison.

So my current projected starting 5 would be

Brewer
Moon
Hickson
Varejao

Main target of upgrade would be my PF and C. The SF doesn’t really play a role in my offense other than bumping the ball but I wouldn’t mind grabbing a strong defensive minded SF with very little offense if they could be had for cheap.

I'm running with the Cavs, but only simming the games. I can't remember all of the transactions I made in year 1, but I finished a measley 33-49, but with two lottery picks in the coming draft. One of my goals was to trade Jamison as well, but he got injured for the season pretty early on so I had to wait till year 2. Here's the trades I made in year two (like I said, I can't remember the ones I made year 1):
Jamison + Joey Graham for Next years 1st round pick + Maxiell (Kings)
Sessions + Gibson for this years 1st round pick + Nocioni (Suns)

In my first year I traded Williams, Parker, and Varejao. I don't remember the players I got in return, but I got a 2011 1st rounder, 2 2012 first rounders, and 1 2013 first rounder for the trades I made (in addition to MY CLE first rounders).

My 2011-2012 Roster looked like this (and how I got them):

With the trades, I managed two 2012 lottery picks (which turned out to be #4 and #8) plus #30. I'm happy to report that Chicago ousted "King's" heat in the conference finals, so the owners personal pledge to win a championship before Lebron is still in effect.

Given what you like and how you use SFs, I wouldn't bother upgrading from Moon. He's an athletic defender who provides a little offense through garbage buckets and the break. As far as your PF position goes, I would just develop Hickson. He should be a monster if given the opportunity.

Sorry for the double post, but for everyone who's rebuilding, what draft prospect are you going after? I downloaded the nbadraft.net draft class to go with Rashidis rosters, and I'm going to do everything I can, with the exception of giving up Rondo, to land Perry Jones at #2.

If I can't pull that off, I'll cautiously make a move to replace Ray Allen with William Buford around the end of the lottery.

Anyone else out there more excited to build through the draft rather than FA?

Actually, Moon has been money for me with his jumper. For some reason I am great with the timing and can use his limited ball skills well enough to get him a step to free his hands.

Hickson has been doing well for me too. I may just use Jamison/Sessions/Varejao to upgrade at cetnter and grab a pick or two.

Kanter would probably be the first name that I went after in the draft. Possibly Irving depending on how Mo playes for me this season

Nothing personal against you, and this isn't really very on topic, but I hate these kinds of posts... to be blunt, nobody cares which team you pick for your Association. We're all working on our own. No offense.

Celtics. You get a first season of realism and play to win and then after that you have to start thinking about rebuilding over the next two/three years around Rondo.

I'm using the Bobcats and having a great time. I traded DJ Augustin and a couple others for Nate Robinson who has really solidified my point guard position. It's a real challenge when Gerald Wallace has a bad game.

I ended up using the Cavs making some moves while keeping the core guys around and I'm 8-4 to start the season.
