I don't think Perkins is really injured. I think Shaq ate him and sucked out all his abilities to boost his own. So now he's back to around 2005...

If a guy takes Kobe and runs him up and down the court like a mad man, Kobe should get exhausted after a short while and pay for it. Good point. For some reason, games just don't seem to be able to nail down the concept of fatigue or stamina. Plus, if the OP's statement is true, then there is no way that should happen in the game. My take is that the engine can not handle older players that just don't have the capability of performing like a 21 year old.
When the game is on the line, winners want the ball.

This was the case for the Dreamcast in 2K-2K1-2K2. If you do too many crossovers or use turbo too much the player will get tired quickly. Also once a player gets tired, they can't do those flashy dunks but more simple dunks. I like it this way because it makes it realistic. Also when they get really tired, they run like chickens with their heads cut off.

I hate seeing players in 2K11 when they do crazy dunks even if they've played the entire game/quarter.

Perkins has no offense so no way would he be rated 75 he can't even catch a pass, and this is coming from a Celtic fan.

I dunno but this would be awesome. I played a guy who would literally just crossover repeatedly and then shoot every time down the court with Daron Williams. He would dunk on 2 and 3 people at a time also. He only took him out for like 2 minutes in the 3rd quarter. I pulled away at the end of the game but it wasn't any fun at all.

i am playing a season with the Celtics and Shaq is great offline. in my last game i had 30 points with him. he draws fouls so easily and in this game everyone can shoot free throw perfectly as long as u know the release point (using Shot stick timing, obviously) so he is pretty much invincible, lol

he's not an offensive player, you should know that. He's good at what he does which is defense and rebounding. 75 is about right

                            Re: Shaq, Really?

Shaq is huge, so when he is put into a video game as the biggest man in the game, he is going to dominate. There are only so many things the 2KSports devs can do, and they really have no way to fix this. Even offline, if Shaq is making a good percentage of his shots, the CPU will keep giving the ball to him. There's nothing to be really done about him, his ratings aren't great but they are good enough so he can dominate because of that enormous size. Lower the ratings anymore and when games are simmed (or when the CPU plays their games in association mode) Shaq won't do very well at all and won't get as many minutes. I just don't see how this can be fixed, sorry. =S
