I can do Kobes pivot but can only finish with a one hand layup. How do I finish with that leaning type jumper like he did in 2k10?

Yea, I've had this same issue as well. I thought at first it was because maybe I wasn't having them practice during the week between games or using the Developmental Drills but I have been using both and that still hasn't helped either.

dont know if this has been posted. but not using turbo really helps your mobility and getting around defenders, i only use it now in open court or when there is a clear path to the basket

Can someone help me with dunking, I dont understand. Everytime I'm in a fast break or trying to do a dunk my guy just does layups, I have the RT pressed and right stick moving towards the basket I get no dunk or signature dunk, also I have tried to move the right stick to the right of the basket and he sometimes he shoots instead of going towards the basket to dunk. I dont understand what I'm doing wrong.

sounds like you are doing it right...only thing I can think of is maybe your guy doesn't have a high enough dunk rating. if your getting this with a Lebron James or something not sure what the issue is

I think the biggest tip that I can give, and I think everyone has already given to those who have been struggling with the game is practice...

One of my favorite things to do is go into post up practice and change Pau to Kobe and have other team's best defender guard him. From there I just practice on my post moves, spot ups, triple threats, Isomotion, and shot timing. Most of theses I've gotten down pretty good, but what I really wanna focus on is the layup and dunk variations.

As far as strategic approaches to the game, it's really important not to forget the fundamentals of basketball, especially as I start going up the skill level. For those who aren't too familiar with basketball aspects and strategy, just think of every basketball cliche you've ever heard:

Work the ball "Inside (post game) to the Outside (Jumpshots)", "Work your two man game" (Pick and Rolls, Pick and Pops, Slip Screens), "Drive and Kick" - attack the rim looking to create space for jumpshooters, and "Swing and Reverse the ball" - just because the play is suppose to be run a certain way, doesn't mean you HAVE to go with it that way.

How do I get my bigs to finish strong? I just got the game and played a game last night, after offensive rebounds they would just put up weak layups. I was using RT + Square.

I agree with using turbo sparingly. Its much more effective to use it off the ball then with the ball. So when using total pass control for stretch type plays, turbo the primary shooter to his spot and he will usually be open. Also when using turbo on roll plays I usually wait till the defender runs into the screen before hitting turbo. U can do a lot of damage just by simply varying speed with the LS alone. I've broken many ankles just by creeping slowly with the LS then doing a quick step or 2 of turbo and slowing down again. Usually the defender will get jumpy try to cut off or will hesitate giving you time to drive or step back.

Very true...change of pace is amazing this year...absolutely lethal. I think the Czar pointed it out in his video on Understanding Movement.

I also agree on using the turbo sparingly. I do notice that my player wants to make contact anytime I use turbo from a stop.

This is more of a general question than a tip...
Has anyone had any luck on unlocking jersey codes thus far? Usually around this time some codes get leaked out. I really want to be able to use the Orlando Magic's black alternate as well as New Orleans and Minnesota's new alternate jerseys. Also curious to see what other jerseys(if any) will be unlockable.

Ok breaughs a brother needs some help. How exactly do you pull of the flick flick moves people are talking about. When i do it i just get a pump fake and the player doesn't register my second flick. Tried it on various spots on the floor and with various players, same result.

Hold LT and flick the R stick in one direction, then let go of both and flick the R stick in another direction.
