online 3 point shooting is broken

Anyone else having these problems?
Im forced to use out of date rosters online.
I have lag now whereas i was lag free pre-patch
and 100% of the time if i abort waiting for opponent of searching for matches the game instantly freezes.

Out of date in what way? Different from your local roster? Yeah, you have to use the online rosters to play online. And those should be updated regularly by 2K...

Waiting for:

- Multiple teams not drafting the same player in a draft. Only one team actually signs the player so many teams go without a 1st or 2nd round draft pick. This also dumps a lot of pretty highly rated rookies into the FA pool because they weren't drafted. Sometimes every team drafts the same player.

- After year 1 there are hardly any trades (2-3 per season) and no FA's signed. It's likely because of too many high rated rookies (75+) fulfilling team needs. This can be fixed by editing every draft class to remove most of the high rated rookies, but the result of that is later in an association (year 5+) there begins to be a lack of superstars in the league. The rookies edited down to work around the trade bug never grow then to 90+ players. When the superstars retire, there are none remaining.

- There is no around the league talk at half time, no scores or even mention of other teams and games.

Game Play

- CPU teams (including auto play on human controlled teams) only run 2-3 plays the entire game. That's the same 2-3 plays and variations the whole game.

- Players who reach the foul limit (6 or whatever limit is set) don't foul out of games.

- Rosters are unbalanced in touches, so that many players (especially PG's) who should score don't, in sim or played games.

Those are only a few of the most critical issues that affect association play. That's why people are waiting for a patch.

Agreed with banski....associtaion is still playable but those problems are annoyin cept I have no problem with pgs scoring...my big problem is for some reason I have to sign out of my gamertag sign in under my girls name and reboot the game sign my girls out sign my back in or the game freezes on the loadin screen afer u press start very frickkkin annoyin

My game freezes after 1st QTr as well, playing Bobcats away. Don´t know if it`s the patch or not.
Happened 3 times straight now. WTF?

If you're playing in the lobbies or with friends the shooting is largely ok. Ranked games are a different story. Mid range shots and PIP carry the day. Most guys just sit back in a zone and dare you to shoot threes because they go in so rarely.

Is NBA Today working for anyone? After like the first week, I haven't gotten anything from the NBA Today feature. No games show up. There isn't even a ticker during any of the games.

^Go to living rosters, then go back to the quick game screen and NBA Today should be working.

The problem im having is i can play one game fine no problem. (though i dont see nba today). When the online game is over and i get back to he main menu i see nba today and retrieve living roster. It will not retrieve roster and i when i select ranked it says since the roster im using is not verified by the server, fewer matches will be available. So while its waiting for opponent, if i press circle to abort, the game will freeze everytime. If i do connect, i have the rosters thw game shipped with.

Only way to combat this is to quit 2k11 after every game and start over. I connect easily then with no probs. So im currently just trying to redownload the update and see if it helps. If not wtf lol

Then they would be wrong. :P All I was saying was that sometimes it's awesome and sometimes you have to make a HUGE adjustment. By the time I figure out which one it will be, my guys are already cold and I'm out of rhythm.
