Why disregard the rule if it is a rule? Simply because casual fans wouldn't know it was a rule? So I guess we should take out defensive 3 seconds as well. If it is in the game it should be in the game.

You see it went right over your head. If that post didn't make any sense nothing will lol.

Ask the average NBA fan. And I bet you they didn't know about the rule.

User call timeout either to make adjustments or advance the ball. I don't think user would be too happy if they were at the end of a game. Made a whole line up change by mistake. And then only had one 20 second timeout. So that means they couldn't sub in their starters or the players they want in. Think about it man... Its a video game.

IMO it should be there, regardless.

TEACH the people playing the game the proper rule then.

If people don't know, they'll learn... and will only be impressed by the video game's accuracy of the NBA's rule book.

So Pared are you telling me you've never done a massive sub/line-up change before... by mistake?

I would love to spread the rule to every NBA fan out there. I really would like to know the reason they have the rule in the first place. Maybe then it would make more sense to me for video games.

No, I'm simply saying they should make the user know that by using a 20, they can only have one sub.

Have a little disclaimer that says "only one player may be subbed in/out during a 20 second timeout" or something to that effect.

How does this rule work anyway? What if they're player about to sub in at the scorers table. And the coaches call a 20 seocnd timeout. Are those guys a loud to come into the game?
