Re: The hardest to stop
He doesn't need if I go for his pump fakes. Which he usually doesn't need to. Because his jump is almost impossible to contest.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Re: The hardest to stop
I guess...just more harder in my experience to stop guys who have great jump shooting plus high dunk / ballhandling skills...u have to worry about pump fakes plus them taking off soon as they hit the paintSLIDERS SUCKComment

Re: The hardest to stop
i've gotten pretty good at stopping small forwards like KD and Melo in my bulls association. I traded Deng for Kirilenko and I just lock up on them the whole game. I played OKC last night and KD dropped 36 pts on me but that was on 13-43 shooting. I'll trade 36 pts for 30 missed shots any day. I've yet to hold him under 30 pts because they do run EVERY play for him almost, but he has yet to shoot close to 50% and is 3-21 on 3 pt shots in the two games i've played them this season.
If you hound them early and force them into contested shots u'll be fine but if u let them heat up, it's over.Dallas Cowboys - Chicago Bulls - Miami Heat (been a fan since Hardaway/Mash/Mourning/Rice days) - Penn State Football - NC A&T - Atlanta BravesComment

Re: The hardest to stop
I could not slow down bogut for the life of me last night. Playing with the knicks, turiaf was the only big dawg who had success against him. He cooled off in the fourth which was a blessing. Still lost though. Freaking Gallinari. Missing a wide open 3 to tie it.Comment

Re: The hardest to stop
I thought i was doing great holding Melo to 8 points at the half on about 15% shooting.
The 2nd half = 36 points for Melo and me being blown out.
He was hitting some rediculous fadeaway's in the face of two quality defenders etc, just nothing i could do.Comment

Totally Melo though.Comment

Re: The hardest to stop
yeah i didn't have a problem with it. When an unstoppable offensive player like that is hot there is no stopping them either in real life or 2k11. Just the way it should be imo.
I makes good defensive players more valuable too as you can really tell the difference trying to stop a Durant type player with a Kirilenko as opposed to say a Korver.Comment

Re: The hardest to stop
Also, hardest to guard?
Gotta be Brian Scalabrine. I swear if the Celtics/Bulls put him on the court. I quit out. It's a hailstorm of cheesy 3's if I don't.
He pulled up at the halfway line once and up and undered one in. That good.Comment

KD is way too tough to cover his height is a problem and he can score every which way possible.Comment

Re: The hardest to stop
BRANDON ROY. THEY RUN EVERY PLAY THRU HIM AND HE HITS DAMN NEAR EVERY JUMPER HE TAKES AND HE WILL DRIVE ON U. ON TOP OF THAT HE BRINGS THE BALL UP THE COURT 80% OF THE TIME SO U CANT STOP HIM FROM GETTING HIS TOUCHES. JUST TRY AND STOP HIM AND SEE WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT.Comment

Re: The hardest to stop
I selected KD pre-patch. Post patch I haven't played against him yet, however, I've played against Kobe. I was able to hold him to 27. Then in the next game Manu lit me up for 44 point.
So far the only CPU players to score 40+ on me are Manu post patch and KD, Melo and Barniani (sp?) pre-patch.My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague
