    I feel you on this one. I've been caught during free throws... with the ai at the line, me trying to make sub adjustments only to have the menu mysteriously switch to coach's settings.
    Where they DO that? ? ?

      My experience with controllers is that when they are turned on (or when the system is turned on) they calibrate and orient themselves relative to their position. In other words, if you press X when you turn the controller on, releasing X becomes calibrated as pressing X. This was much clearer on previous systems, but I have had issues with my controller and have corrected them by turning off the controller, shaking it, turning it upside down, firmly pressing all the buttons and turning it back on.

      It's not completely fail-proof, though.

      That said, I don't think these controllers are made very well. They seem to wear out faster than any I have ever owned before. And I play about two-three games a year.

        Oh man that happens to me all the time. Online/Offline.. My controller problems can drive anyone crazy. The game needs presice controlling

        I'll give that a try next time they start acting up. Last night was the first time in a while I didn't have to deal with sub menus or random passes to the wrong player.
