Maybe it's cuz Boozer is hurt and they have no other go-to guy besides Deng and Rose?

I also played a game between SA and MIN. Played pretty much perfectly except low shooting percentages for both teams
lol ur right cause I do the same thing with the Bulls, cause I know the attention is on Rose so I'll run plays for Deng & Korver. And then in the 2nd half I'll start running some plays for Rose n Noah.

Wow - I am just blown away by this patch. I love it.

What was already a really, really, good game is now Great. Best sports game every IMO.

I have a played a few games and what has impressed me the most is the ability to now press X to quick step through the Substitution Screens!! YES!! That was such a pain having to sit through, and I didn't remember seeing that in the list of things to fix in the notes.

I was SO surprised to be able to do that. Bravo 2k!!!!! Thank you!!

Is it still too easy for the human user to block AI CPU jumpshots when using turbo? I know verticals for rebounding and bigs have been addressed reading the patch notes.

I always get 10-15 blocks a game because its so easy to block jumpshots.

I'm loving the patch but too many fouls are called now. I tested Knicks vs Lakers and both teams shot over 50 FT:s. And in My Player only two plays are called in the entire game. ****in ridiculous.
And the team mate grade doesn't grow at all only goes down. I'm not getting nothing even if i block shots.

Thats a roster issue, i changed the playbooks and have no problem

How is shot selection by the cpu on offense? Do they still jack up random outside/mid-range shots on a fastbreak resulting in a high FGA by the team overall when playing 12min/quarter?

I have not noticed any of this

Is there more randomization in the offense for the opposing cpu team and are role players getting more shots up instead of star players jacking up 25-30 FGA?

Also a roster issue, lower the touches, shot tendency and any shot number that is way higher than others ex: close 25 mid 25 3pt 66.

When starting a new Association, do teams still reset their rotations or do they use the same rotations (minutes) before you enter a new association?

                yes

Is cpu substitution more logical? Does the CPU effectively utilize players with their 2ndary positions?

Not with the Celtics, so im guessing no.

I know it's alot of questions but if someone would kindly answer them that would be great . Still waiting here for the PC patch :P
Now stop reposting this damn list

Post patch I'm seeing too many shoot attempts by CPU players. Bulls Deng took 18 shots in the first half including 11 three point attempts. Game is very predictable as to who will shoot the ball for CPU. Is anybody else notice this?

yes... im a 6'2 PG wit 93 vert and I avg 5.2 blocks a game.
That's what thing that needs to be detuned

Not in my experience, it feels very good offline.

Played a cousin of mine and it was one of the most realistic experiences ive had with 2k. The contact felt deserved, mismatches were taken advantage of and everything was solid.

Against the CPU i have the same feeling. The lowered verts play a big part.

These generated classes will apply to newly started Associations. If you want to use them in an existing Association, you can simply generate new classes outside of Association, save them, and load them into your existing Associations when prompted. Enjoy.
Still waiting for clarification on this. I'm guessing it means you're forced to use official rosters if you want improved rookie classes from here on out. So if you use a downloaded roster you'll have no choice but generate them outside of association mode every time?

does the patch do anything to the most obvious flaw in the history of game making??? that being the lack of player responsiveness on the PS3 platform??? just curious since this could be the best game ever...i've been playing ch2k8 and love the fact when i want to go left i go left immediately or if i want to change directions on a dime i can...

it blows my mind that nba2k11 on the ps3 has the clunkiest control responsiveness ever, at least to me...

does that part of gameplay feel any better???

Take your My player or any other player besides a PF or C to shootaround/practice, run around WITHOUT the ball pay attention to his jog and hold turbo to see his sprint...Now if you go back to the dashboard and Erase the update by goin to (system settings, memory, press Y on harddrive, Clear system cache) when you start your game back up you will be asked to download update "Decline" and do what I just said about taking a player to shootaround/practice and you will see exactly what I'm talking about.

This occurs pre-patch as well. The AI CPU jacks up a lot of bad shots. When open they almost always jack up a shot. For example when playing against the Bulls, Kyle Korver constantly jacks up a 3 even if he has missed 4 shots in a row in a span of 5 minutes.

In other words I had hoped 'Shot Selection' by CPU was addressed. 2K10 the AI CPU had better shot selection.

Damnit. I thought 2K would fix this. It's so easy to block jumpshots using turbo.

Hmmm now I'm confused. Did you feel this way pre-patch? Or were you getting 10-15 blocks a game like I was?

Do you use turbo when contesting shots? Because if you just press the jump button blocking jumpshots rarely occurs (because the contest vertical is low/realistic)

I'm sure you've already seen this thread I made a while back. The majority agree with the poll:

I gotta agree about the MyPlayer complaints. I'm getting moved from PG to SG a LOT more often post-patch, and the backup PG is now calling the plays when I've been field general for several weeks at least. Sure, I can call a new play if I can get my hands on the ball first, but in some cases a play's already called and I'm not going to get the ball unless I run the called play by which point there's often not enough time to call something else anyway.

What's the point in trying to play a point guard if the game won't let you turn off the auto play-calling?
