I can't seem to complete a custom game post patch. I usually only play friends or in the Hall of Fame Lobby. Now I can't finish a match. It is pretty annoying because I really enjoy the online play post patch.

I have had the same issue, does your game always disconnect after the 1st whistle? This has been the issue for me and it is not an issue in ranked games, so I don't know what is causing it.

Really?? Wait, so save ur association, sliders, rosters etc on usb? Then delete 2k11 game data basically. And redownload game? Then load ur stuff on ur ps3 again after that?

Yea thats what I did & the problem hasnt happened again, the only files I put back on the ps3 from the usb so far were my association,my player, and user profile. So nothing really is lost doing it.

I had not been insightful enough to check when its happening in-game. However, I can play ranked games as well.

After the patch it feels harder to play on ball defense and when I run plays it doesnt show where my computer teammate is going to run to. It just shows the a button above them. Before it used to have a line that showed where my teammate would go. btw this is for a quick game, not mp

I have to say... this patch is good but its hard for me to get the ball now.... the rotation is better where KD would be on the bench in the 4th quarter he now has the ball.....during MP(my second player).

what I like too say is that some how the patch fixed my original MP from a black screen (an in game save) now I have 2 MP.... I still have not even played association and thats where I usually spend most of my time

i have the same problem in MP as a SG. Much, much harder to get the ball now post-patch and my stats have just plummeted from before in all areas. I am going to try calling for the ball more often or calling off ball screens which are said to help eliminate the current play most of the time to see if this helps. If not, I am considering restartiing MP as a PG. It would have been nice to have an option to turn of play calling and go free style, becuase iif you are a SG or SF in my player, IMO, our positions just became irrelevant.

Whenever i take free throws on my player, it says that my controls are disconnected...thought it was battery (even though it was full), so brought a fresh pack, and it still happens....I've now missed around my last 25 free throws, and its only free throw specific, once im done taking them, eveything continues on fine (until i get fouled again whilst shooting)...

Haven't the baseline shots always been the same? Why did they decide to address the arc now? The high arcing baseline shots look like cartoons. Anyone been shooting the 45 foot behind the backboard out of bounds shots?

Last night in a crew game someone shot from directly behind the backboard, and it took 5 seconds for the shot to drop through AND it actually went through.

Much laughing ensued.

Yesterday I downloaded the patch then download a 2kshare roster played a game everything was fine. Now today attempted to play my player and the game froze while teammate was at the foul line. I quit the game and it would not exit the game. So I manually stuff off the ps3 and now it doesn't even show the game during intial turn on. I put in another game it worked perfectly fine. What should I do to resolve this matter?

My friend had a similar problem with his copy of the game. The game just quit working upon start up. He even tried my copy, and the same thing happened, while his copy worked flawlessly on my ps3. I thought that the problem had something to with a corrupt nba2k11 save file, but since he had so many, I suggested that he just restore his ps3. So, he did a quick restore, and the game started back working.

I personally don't like the post-patch shooting. I finally got it to a point where I would miss shots but also make realistic ones too. Now I seem to be missing way to many and even open shots when I release the shot stick based on the player jumping up and where they would release previously. Why they have to mess with things that were not even a problem I will never know.

Yup, and they very, very rarely go in. With some jumper styles they also start with a different trajectory and then magically rise straight up. If I start hitting a few, I'd be o.k. with it, I guess. I still hit the backboard occasionally.

Try to delete the gamedata file before you restore your PS3.

Post Patch in one of my Associations, ALL the players are on wrong teams in the boxscore/headlines page. I am using the regular NBA rosters and they have guys all over the place. The only place you can see how everyone actually did in their last game is to go to Manager Roster and click on the individual players and check their "recent games" and match it up against the date. I hope this doesn't last the entire rest of the season and Im unable to check out boxscores from other games or even my game for that matter
