At first I didn't like the shooting post patch but, after giving it 4-5 games I'm actually loving it now. I'm shooting any where between 42-48% from the field and 35-45% from the three point line. I'm playing on Pro with custom sliders (shooting is between sim and default). Also I'm using shot stick for shooting and Real % for free throws.

Very well done, 2k.

I am in love with the game after the patch. It feels new to me all over again. The shooting feels much more organic and the crazy verticals are gone in the paint. I am also seeing much nicer contact animations.

The game feels more organic then ever. I play on pro with sim sliders but i might go to sim sliders on all pro next to test.

I love how when pre patch i would post up with Amar'e he would turn to face the defender and blow past him for a jam and one, that was a huge issue for me pre patch. Now I do it and I feel the defender riding me and it takes me into a short shot animation or i get fouled. I only saw the jam once and before i did it all the time with ease.

The game is by far the best sports game right now

I am going to work on sliders and give it a lot of time and effort to get them right

Heck yeah, I used some of you're Madden sliders so, I'm looking forward to your set. I don't think there will be to much "tweaking" involved though. This game plays so damn good "out of the box" now. The only thing I've really touched are the penalty sliders.

I just remembered another little thing that bothers me about this patch.... that "rainbow shot"/// I dont know how or what I do to make this happen but it needs to go away.....

as for not getting the ball... well I'll keep laying and after the season end....well I'm going to take my talents to somewhere that I can start (I'm currently on the Thunder backing up KD and am a super six man)

I tried that still nothing, so I decided to back up my files and delete them 1 by 1 and after deleting the 2kshare file the game popped back up. So does this mean that file is corrupted?

i am a person who likes to use the button to shoot and that patch has messed up the timing with the button. i dont like to use the sticks to play and i dont think i should have too. ive been using the lakers since the very first nba2k on dreamcast and kobe has always shot the same with the buttons till this patch now i cant shoot with anyone on the lakers. they need to come up with a way to fix the game better without messing the things that work up

and the timing online is even worst

I'm not sure man. It seems likely, but I'm not even sure what file you mean (I have never gone online, is that an online file? Is it important?). I would hate to tell you something that would make you unnecessarily delete a file you value.

It still froze after I deleted the file, I erased everything except my user profile then tried to start over and now it freezes when I play the start up game with bulls vs lakers and everytime the computer goes to take the ball out I have to switch teams to get the ball in bounds then if I try to quit it gets stuck.

Yes 2kshare rosters are something you get while online.

The files don't disappear but all your internet bookmarks, cookies, settings and all internet and system settings are reset.

I'm really not digging this patch one bit. This is the problem with 2k. They always make radical changes that are unneeded instead of fixing the few problems that is agreed on within the community that needs fixing. They really damaged this game IMO. This game was a masterpiece when first shipped. All they needed to do was to make a couple of changes. Instead they make indexed changes.

also i still have a problem not knowing who im passing the ball to when playing O. and the a.i. rebounding and box outs suck too

I have to disagree with you on this one man. This patch was very necessary. The game, while top notch when first released, was far from a masterpiece. There were numerous problems that need addressing; some of which ruined the experience for many players (And I'm not talking about the difficulty level). Just calm down man, the 2k developers know what they're doing. How can you say they made a masterpiece then insinuate that they don't know what they're doing all in the same breath? If you have that much dedication to 2k, at least trust them to make the right decisions with their game.
