I play in a 30-man league, and the patch killed us all. It happened just at the start of the Playoffs, everyone's disgusted by their shooting %, from 80-90 PPG, we've gone to 60-70. Our great season turned awful in a hurry.

Were people really clamoring for this to be fixed? I hadn't noticed.

I mean, it makes sense, I guess it'll be better when we're used to it, but why would they choose to fix this (altering every, single player's release) and not one of the smaller issues that people HAVE been complaining about. Like, say, the automatic altering of the rotation at the start of associations?

You guys have to release it a lil earlier than how it was b4 the patch. Im pretty sure they did this to prevent a lot of the blocked jumpers that many were complaining about.

And I dont see how every player in the game esp Jordan's release was wrong. I could see if a few players releases were fixed but everyones was affected

              I'd accept that reasoning, too.

I'm liking the new release points just because it improved Rip and Ben Gordon's shots

Yessir, same here. The new releases are much more accurate. Before, both of those guys were just dangling in the air for an eternity on release.

i also like the new shots postpatch. i felt like on some shots, u had to hold it way too long and they were getting blocked.

For those thinking nothing changed with the shot, you have to actually play online. The timing is completely different. Most shots are longer now. I'm actually considering going completely offline for this game. Which makes it a total waste. I'm going to hold off opening this PS3 version now as well. I won't just play in the paint to play this game.
I'm bored of sigs. See irony.

yeah ive had some difficulties with this new patch too. i noticed that with jason williams, i have to release the shot stick almost before he even jumps, kind of like the quick fade away brooks and nate robinson have. i am shooting better with players with slow releases however.

The sad thing is the game was pretty much perfect out of the box, and this patch ruined the game. The shooting is more unrealistic than it was b efore

i thought i was going crazy but i guess not.

my fg % dropped to 41% in 3 games.

i knew something felt wrong with the shot stick and i suspected it was after the patch.

has anyone seen a charge yet?

i have yet to see one since i got this game.

I agree,The shots are longer now. I played online against the Heat and went nuts with Casspi. Check out how long I had to hold his shot just to get a good release. Several players releases are the same way online. It almost looks like a double pump or like you're hanging in the air for a second.
