Why would 2k change the release point for a timed based shot stick?

Re: Why would 2k change the release point for a timed based shot stick?

I usually play with the Celtics pre patch and the first thing I noticed was the shot stick timing was quicker for Ray Allen as I started bricking with Ray after a few curl plays(late release). I guess it sucks a little but it isn't that hard to go into practice mode and figure it out. I suggest everyone turn on shot stick feedback and play with that on if you haven't already. I haven't played with all the teams I use pre and post patch but like I said you can figure it out in a few minutes of practice mode. I just recently started using the Mav's post patch and Dirk has a late release and is very easy to get down pack.

Exactly, it seems if you do the perfect release (what it should be) its always in the red. It seems you have to hold it quicker or longer depending on the player, which is not how it should be. You should always be releasing at the top of their jump and that is how it used to be but not anymore
