I usually play with the Celtics pre patch and the first thing I noticed was the shot stick timing was quicker for Ray Allen as I started bricking with Ray after a few curl plays(late release). I guess it sucks a little but it isn't that hard to go into practice mode and figure it out. I suggest everyone turn on shot stick feedback and play with that on if you haven't already. I haven't played with all the teams I use pre and post patch but like I said you can figure it out in a few minutes of practice mode. I just recently started using the Mav's post patch and Dirk has a late release and is very easy to get down pack.
Why would 2k change the release point for a timed based shot stick?

I agree,The shots are longer now. I played online against the Heat and went nuts with Casspi. Check out how long I had to hold his shot just to get a good release. Several players releases are the same way online. It almost looks like a double pump or like you're hanging in the air for a second.
