Network Problems Post-Patch?

All of my games online have disconnected due to network error ever since the patch came out. Is anyone else having this happen as well? I didn't have this problem before the patch was released.

same here i cant get through the 1st quarter of a game unless its team up. and i dont care for team up.

Yea ive been getting this too, Ive also am not able to get Ranked games either, its just keeps searching, not finding any match. The crazy part is that I played like 5 games today no problem, now all of the sudden I get that message, I rebooted my router still did not work!!!

Same here. I've been trying for the last 3 days to play an unranked game online against my friends and get past 5 minutes before the game disconnects due to network error.

Why, oh why, did 2K release this patch before a long holiday weekend when nobody's around to look into and resolve this issue quickly?

With custom games it happens every first whistle but it does not seem to be an issue when I play ranked games. So I guess something with the 1st whistle of the game causes it to disconnect.

Ranked works, but custom matches dont, i only play custom matches with friends usually on 9 min quarters, i cant play with 5 min quarters and have scores in the 40's

Yup looking on other forums this is a huge !! issue with all kinds of people

I don't think anybody has been able to play custom matches since the patch and nobody from 2K has come out and addressed this issue.

would be nice to know what exactly is going on and what they plan on doing about it

Even tried deleting all of my NBA2K memory then emptying my cache and then downloaded the patch again to see if that might help, but still disconnects everytime : (

I'd imagine SOMEONE... has to be aware of what's going since this is like what... year 3 with online related issues that never seem to go away.

I think it's very sad that we the consumers shell out our hard earned dollars and we're still subject to half a** products. I'm only putting this out there because of the crappy customer service I seem to get when I make an already known issue known again. Sure it's annoying, to everyone who pays for XBox Live.

It's like we're being cheated out of our subscription(s)

Im sure they are aware, but there is no timetable on when they acknowlege the issue let alone a timetable for a fix.

Yup, this ruined what I expected to be a long weekend of online nba gaming. I hope 2K resolves this as quickly as possible. Hopefully, it's as simple as a typo in a line of code.

Better yet, maybe a simple server reboot will clear the network errors. This is what I'm hoping for anyway. Otherwise, we'll be waiting another 2-3 weeks before being able to play unranked online games again. C'mon 2K, fix this asap please!

Yea, it pushed me pretty far after having five consecutive games disconnect on me. I've gotten a PS3 copy as well that I'm considering not opening and taking back instead. It's ridiculous that I cannot play an unranked game, wait about 6+ minutes for ranked to finally pick up (as if no one was really online playing), try and move to a lobby and get the same network error since it's technically another player match. Gotta love it 2k. I want to send you my copies and you personally just give me my funds back, I can live w/o the game.

This is absolutely, nothing on the player's end.

For me personally, this issue has ruined the game for me. I only play player matches with friends. I have no desire to play association, and ranked is a joke with 5 min qtrs, and playstyles not conducive to a fun game.
