    Re: Manual or Auto Substitutions

I use auto but i hate how cpu makes those subs. Every minute there comes that fcking substitution. And When playin with heat for exampel theres alwways one of the big three palying but in 2k11 there are often none. How can i fix those things? Is it possible by changesin gameplan or situationals?

I would use auto-subs if you could assign position and choose the exact amount of fatigue when to make a sub. I don't have enough control over the auto-sub system for me to go with it.

        Re: Manual or Auto Substitutions

as far as the people who use auto subs, do u go with rotation or fatigue?

plus, if u pick fatigue, it will totally eliminate certain players from the rotation at times? randomly?
        plus's and minus's of both?

Auto subs - Rotation. It is just to keep it fair vs the CPU in my opinion as both sides make stupid substitutions. I hate it when someone fouls out/gets injured though as then the CPU keeps switching players in and out.

Manual, cpu subs are just weird, for my association, they put Austin Rivers at the 4 spot along with Marquis Teague, Sebastian telfair

              Re: Manual or Auto Substitutions

I've been using auto-subs, but I want to switch to manual. The computer makes some wacky choices like Landry Fields at PF and Wilson Chandler at SG. At the same time.

Auto as else i feel i have an unfair advantage vs the CPU teams.

I just adjust my rotations and let the AI sub like it does for CPU teams.

                  Re: Manual or Auto Substitutions

I normally do manual subs because I often just want to remove a couple of players, like Hill for Parker, Splitter for Blair. I don't switch stuff that often, but it's often specific changes, so I need manual.

I'm using auto. But the CPU makes some extremely stupid subs. Hopefully this year there will be some kind of depth chart or timetable for when we want people to come in.

Manual only. I like playing Wilson Chandler at SG & SF.

if ur gonna use maual subs just make sure to put timeouts on manual also cause the cpu is just as bad with calling to's as they are at subbing

                          Re: Manual or Auto Substitutions

Definitely manual substitutions, I can't stand the minutes they give to some players when it's on auto and the timing of some of the substitutions. Sometimes I wish I could do subs for both teams, because they will take out their second or third best player who is always in in clutch time for their respective team in real life (Ray Allen on the Celtics for example) and it bugs the crap out of me.

                            Re: Manual or Auto Substitutions

I use auto because I'll forget to take some one out and I'll have my minutes messed up. The CPU does irritate me sometime by taking out someone right after they hit a big 3, catch an alley, or make a good play on D, but it all seems to usually work out in the end. I've never had anything crazy happen like playing someone completely out of position and all my players get the minutes there supposed to.

If I used manual, Joe Johnson or Josh Smith would probably have a heart attack on the floor after averaging 47 mins per game for a month a straight

Used to let the CPU manage subs but they kept insisting Alonzo Gee be the first guy in, to replace Anthony Parker. I didn't like that = Manual subs from now on.

to anyone whos using auto subs: have you noticed that the 6th man is almost NEVER the first guy off the bench? ive tried many different teams and its always like this.. example im using the thunder and i have harden and ibaka as my 6th man but the first guy subbed is always cole aldrich, wtf?!! i could understand it if kristic or green are in foul trouble, but that doesnt seem to have any influence.. anyone else noticing this wackiness?
