I remember reading that insight. You're gonna have to show me where it says anything about Gatorade, Verizon, and 2K endorsements.

I know Jordan brand endorses you and gives you a couple of billboards, and a signature shoe. There's also the SI covers, and that's it.

That link doesn't really answer my question.

My bad about the verizon wireless part in the title description.l This is from a website that gets info from 2k."So far this week 2K Sports has revealed press conferences and signature shoes and now comes the endorsements. " “Become a star in My Player mode and you’ll get sponsorships from iconic brands. What sponsor would you most like to have? Jordan Brand? Gatorade? Sprite? 2K Sports???” ". Also in the insight it says 'As you guys have seen from the Ronnie2K teases on the NBA 2K FB page, Endorsements aplenty if you can raise your popularity high enough'. Im pretty sure aplenty means more than 4 endorsements.

yup, very misleading advertising from 2k. go to the http://www.facebook.com/NBA2K page and scroll all the way down the page and click Older Posts. do this until the dates on the posts say september 1.
It says and I quote:
"Hope you got your "10 million dollar smile" ready. When your player blows up in this year's My Career mode, his mug is going to be all over the newsstands. Are you good enough to grace as many covers as MJ?"

One maganzine cover is HARDLY all over the newstands. It also says:

misleading to say the least.

im on my 3rd season now(20 games in)...got my custom signature shoes already as well as the second billboard....havent see any other endorsement since my rookie year(during the playoffs)....

i finished my second season with a triple double average while claiming both MVP and defensive player of the year(among other accolades) while leading the league in 4 major statistical categories(points, rebounds, assists, and steals)...and still nothing...

You guys gotta understand its only the 2nd year for my player. Theyres still al ot of bugs and missing features in it. Its not suprising it isnt popping up tbh

lol unlocking endorsements shouldnt be that much of a difficulty from a game developer's standpoint...it's just like any other game where you unlock things from beating certain challenges or as you progress through the game

it doesnt matter if it's just the second year this mode has been out....more than likely the newness of this mode will be more present in the gameplay itself rather than the actual features that is supposedly included in it

From the community insight, they suggested that getting your own shoe is the pinnacle. Considering I've gotten the shoe deal and all I got were billboards and magazine covers, I'm guessing they were a little loose in their build-up.
