Re: Whos your favorite under 85ovr player??
Grant Hill. He started the year with a 76 rating, but they FINALLY figured out the error of their ways and bumped him to 80.
Excellent Lock down, Perimeter defender: i'm talking staying in front of your man, lots of L-Trigger. Not reaching in 10 times and complaining when you get beat. Usually the guy I put on the other team's superstar.
Pretty good Jump shooter: I have his Jumper down pat, Knock down open 18 footers all day long. Can be anywhere from a 5for8 guy to a 10for19 guy given the situation.
O.K. 3-Point shooter: Not dependable, But can hit 1-3 a game if left open, usually about 1 for 3, or 2 for 4 that kind of guy. Besides, there are lots of other guys who fit the 3 point shooting role. Nash-Frye-Vinceanity-even Aaron Brooks. Not going to WOW you from deep, but don't give him opportunities.
Handles: He can drive to the rim very well. Has good handles for a 6'8 Swingman. Not Rajon Rondo, But matched up on a bad defender, and Hill will burn him in even the simplest ISO's.
Passing: Hill's passing skills are often overlooked, but i find myself fitting the ball. Great at finding a way to pass around defenders, about 3-8 assists a game.
Dunks: Remember, this guy was supposed to be MJ number 2, so his dunking skills are pretty tops for a 38 year old. Not gonna slam it in your face, but not going to go for a layup when the chance comes.
Potential: This isn't the young stud that you want to build your team around, but he is a fantastic piece to a championship team. If your doing a fantasy draft, you'll have him for about 1 or 2 years, but he is most likely the most talented Veteran in the game. Great if your looking for that 1 year go-at-the-title sort of thing.
Overall: Weather you want him to; Shut down guys like Kobe, Ray Allen, or Paul Pierce. Hit some Key Mid-Range Jumpers. Be a Scorer in the paint. Bring energy, and defense off the bench, or just be a clutch guy in late game situations... Grant Hill is the best choice for an under 85ovr Player.Comment

DeSean Stevenson - he is money in the bank once you get his default fade release down (which is unblockable almost) and a good defender off the bench.
Jordan Hill - Easy as heck to get usually and great off the bench and has speed for a big guy.. good defender.. great at getting boards off the bench
Delonte West - I'm just $ shooting with him.. love em as my 6th man. Can play the 2 decent also at 6'3. Also easy to getComment

I don't remember what roster I'm using, but Danny Granger is rated just below 85 in my association and he is a stud. He knocks down shots from anywhere on the court and can drive the basket pretty well for a guy of his size. I love his shot, real smoothe.Comment

Thaddeus Young and Nick Young are monsters. I've traded for Nick Young in my Nets Assoc. and signed Thad. Thad is a monster from mid range and the post, and Nick Young is an assassin from outside and midrange. I lead the league in 3pt % with him 20 games into year 2.HELLO BROOKYLN.
