What's the hate for. He took less money to get the hell out of Cleavland to move to Miami.

I wonder how many people in Cleavland would do the same.

No he didn't! He pays less taxes in Florida. For that reason the money after taxes is more in his new contract than in the theory maximum in Cleveland. So don't be fooled by his "generosity".
A great force of nature, but lacking a lot of skills, and the rule of three or four steps for him is just to write a book. Really, if they apply to L.James the rules for traveling, they would be stoping the game constantly.

@ least you still have a team, our walked/ran away from us 10 years ago.
& you never had a player named "Big Country" who is known as the biggest bust in NBA history.
What about Steve Francis,pouted for 2 months while he demanded a trade, cried his way to Houston & took rookie of the year.

I hope we get another chance some day.
And a better front office too.

Well maybe 2K Sports can have an hour long special on whether to change or not change LeBron's attributes. Maybe they can call this waste of airtime "The Decision."

And I don't know how many of you have studied psychology, but if you have you know LeBron was lying his butt off. You can tell when someone is lying by how they scratch/wipe his or her face.

I agree - since 2k does not currently have ratings related to class, loyalty, sense of humor, or humility.

I agree that "The Decision" was classless, but the whole loyalty part is bs. Last time I checked he honored his contract in Cleveland. I mean.. it's not like he ASKED to be drafted to a horrible basketball organization. I don't recall him ever requesting a trade either.

Cleveland fans need to admit that they have a horrible basketball organization that, in my opinion, will NEVER be a in the talks of NBA champions. Not only that.. the Cleveland baseball team, basketball team, AND football team are all very below average.

LeBron is a person just like you, he had to do what would make HIM happy. He isn't some modern day mule who owes you, the team owner, or anyone else anything. America is also the land of opportunity, and there isn't much opportunity in Cleveland as we can now see from all the bitterness being shown.

And if we're talking classless.. let's talk about all the horrible fans that show up to Cavs games with stupid signs and bags over their head.. while the players are out their giving their all to win the game. Reeeeaaaaaaal classy. right?

I'm not a LeBron or Heat fan either.

Its funny that people are so mad at this guy for pretty much no reason other than being hyped up so much. Did any of you watch ESPN the last hour. They just spent over an hour getting everyone they had on speed dial to call in and talk about Carmelo Anthony. This is the world we live in where everything is 24/7 media and things are hyped up more now than ever. Jordan, Bird, Magic, Wilt never dealt with the type of media these guys deal with. Everyone was hyping up his free agency 2 years before he even became a free agent. He had teams tanking just to get him. ESPN knew the hype around him picking his team because he's the best player in the NBA and it was the biggest story in sports.

Unless you're a Cavs fan and are still mourning the loss of Lebron i don't understand all the hate this guy gets. He's never been arrested or gotten in trouble off the court, he's been a team player his entire career, he's the best player in the game. So the guy got tired of living in Ohio his whole life and playing without a star teammate and so he decided to go play with his friends in a nicer city where he's not giving money away through state taxes.

Bingo! I loathe, detest, eschew even, LeBron James...but it's not because he left Cleveland. Who in their right mind would want to play in that city, for that team? No free agents are EVER going to sign there again after Dan Gilbert's little tirade, and their fans, as you so aptly pointed out, are incredibly fickle.

The fact of the matter is LeBron is a grade A douche, who I would love nothing more than to see fail miserably. Nothing would be better for the NBA/make me happier than the "Heatles" (speaking of douchy things) never winning the championship. They need to become the '90s Buffalo Bills of the NBA. I mean seriously, he of "The Decision" wants to call Trent Dilfer out for "thinking he can do and say whatever he wants on TV". Uh...the guy's a sports analyst. The list of ridiculous things LeBron has done/said now that he's the "villain" (which, obviously you haven't lived if you don't go from hero to villain in your life, just ask LeBron) goes on and on, but that was the most absurd to me.

What type of MAN wishes failure or ANYTHING BAD on a man who has done nothing wrong to them or anyone he knows? That shows a lot about you as a PERSON. And you obviously are know marketing major.. as the Heat winning the NBA title would be one of the BEST things for the NBA and anyone in association with the NBA.
