I seem to be the only person here who can stop Melo, but Wade and James dominate me every time. Bosh sucks when I play him though. Kobe also beats the heck out of me every time, same with Chris Paul. Some players that always do really well against me for some odd reason are; Ben Gordon, Jamal Crawford, Demar Derozan, and Luis Scola. But the best player of all is Andre Iguodala. He is unstoppable. Every single time I play the 76ers in franchise, he drops at least 30, about half of them on highlight reel dunks. He blows past Amare as easily as he would me. It's absolutely insane. If I double team him, he drives, dishes to Hawes, and gets ten assists. A typical stat line is 32 pts, 11 asts, 14 rebs. Sorry for the rant, I just cannot win against the 76ers because of him. I do pretty well against the other stars in the league though.

im interested to know if guys are losing games because of these performances or do u still find a way to win, ive noticed if i let the star get his points and really lock down everyone else on the floor i usually win, but if i start sending double teams thats when every shot the scrubs take is wide open an the cpu doesnt miss more than 1 of 10 open shots

Monta Ellis, Jamal Crawford, Luol Deng and Andrea Bargnani come to mind. Bargnani destroys me in the post and Deng shoots lights out from 18+. Monta and Jamal just seem to do it all.

But like another user posted, I can still typically win, or at least stay in the game, by just letting the stars do their thing and lock everyone else down. I'll occasionally call for the double on the dominant scorer to get them out of rhythm for a while, but not for long. Otherwise it opens up the floor and the shooters start racking up points.

Another tactic I use when someone is scoring out of their mind is to attack them on the offensive end and hopefully get them into foul trouble to limit their time on the court. This tactic works well on guys who play the 3, 4, and 5 but the 1 and 2's are harder since they don't typically commit as many fouls unless you constantly put them in iso situations.

trevor ariza because im primarily guarding chris paul the whole game which is fairly easy...out of all the elite PG's in the league i seem to be able to get on-ball steals off of him with the most ease....but since i rarely bring help defense to guard ariza he just continually drain 3's on my team

i have no problem stopping carmelo because i do bring help defense to guard him....that just opens up j.r. smith and he also does what ariza does which is knock down 3's....

the heat is really a mediocre team in this game for me...i have no real issues playing them...you just shut down bosh's mid range game by double teaming him....and i play a sag defense against lebron and wade....they usually only make their perimeter shots if they're in motion...but a spot up 3 or anything like that clanks off the rim....

As long as I dont bite on pump fakes or try to block and give them a lane/space, I can shutdown players. I usually try to get on the best scorers because I dont have good defenders in the backcourt.
It is PFs and Cs that light up my Teammates. Once they get in the low Post
I try to call a Double Team. If not they will score 9/10 times from the low post.

Haven't had issues with these guys much lately but for the longest time I hated playing against them.

Danny Granger - Just launched 3 balls all day and hardly ever missed

Luol Deng - He would go ice cold for the first half of a game so I'd start playing off him a lil bit. Bad Decision. He'd end up making like 9 of 10 of his next 3's.

Iggy goes for 30-35 points every time I play him.

Sonny Weems- He always drops 20-25 off the bench vs me and only misses 1-2 shots the whole game.

Playing as the Heat (as most everyone knows already) I have been lit up consistently by Dwight Howard, Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, Derrick Rose, Chris Paul and Monta Ellis is also sick.

Also Danny Granger is beastly against me. I have only played the Lakers 2 times so far (about to play them again in year 2) but Gasol gives me fits along with Kobe of course.
