MyPlayer Trade Request Question

Hey, ya'll. I'm relatively new to the 2k scene, but I'm really liking NBA 2K11. A lot. And I'm really enjoying the MyPlayer mode. I'm only about 9 games into my NBA career, however, and I have a question regarding trade requests.

My player is a 6'2, 190lb SG drafted by Orlando. I'm averaging about 18 points a game, with a teammate average of B+. The problem is, I don't like Orlando. Not only that, but they keep subbing me in at PG and SF, which I don't want any part of. I don't know if all teams would do this, but I'm thinking a trade might put me on a team that won't.

So, I checked out the trade area and saw that Charlotte was interested in me, so I put in a trade request. I'm a Chicago guy first and foremost, so I put the Bulls as my first choice, then Charlotte, then Boston.

My next game with Orlando was pretty solid. I scored 25 points, 5 assists, 5 boards, and had a teammate rating of A+, with the bar fully filled to the maximum (first time I pulled that off). After that game, I checked the trade section, and saw that Charlotte was no longer on the list of interested teams, but the Bulls were in the very first slot.

So, my question is: With the Bulls being the first on the list of interested teams, and with them being my first choice, what are my odds of being traded to them, and how long will I have to wait? The season is only 9 games old.

If I could land on the Bulls... man. That would be fun!

If the bulls don't have interest in you or get interest in you I would say/think low... I selected to get traded to the Celtics with them having interest in me and I went to Knicks with them also having interest in me but I did not show interest in them at all...

Check out the rumor mill in league news too... sometimes they got some info on you up there on the bottom of the page..

i had a similar situation, beginning of my second season, i wanted to be traded to the magic. i just created a second save file and played on the new save to see if i would get traded. i think i got traded in the next 5 games. so if you dont mind potentially wasting 5 games, you can find out real quick if you get your team or not

i had a similar situation, beginning of my second season, i wanted to be traded to the magic. i just created a second save file and played on the new save to see if i would get traded. i think i got traded in the next 5 games. so if you dont mind potentially wasting 5 games, you can find out real quick if you get your team or not

or make a backup file...simulate a few games ahead and if it works then reload the other file and play the game as is

Good idea. I was also picked up by a team that I didnt select and had no interest in me. Still worked out though.

to your regards of playing at PG and SF also. You will do that almost every where. Im a 6'4 SG, that got traded to the Lakers which i loved lol but they moved Kobe to PG and I still play 3-5 minutes a game at PG or SF.when they have backups for those positions.
