My Player - default vs simulation game style

I have a bit of a problem with the game styles in My Player. I find that Default mode is actually much harder than Simulation mode. On Default mode, the CPU makes too many of its shots...In My Player, i played against the pacers on default mode and they shot 70 percent and went 10/10 on 3's in the first half. The CPU is almost impossible to defend on Default mode.

On the other hand, I find Simulation mode to be too easy because the CPU can't score enough. Most of the time when i play sim mode, the CPU shoots 30-35 percent and I almost always win easily.

So default mode is too hard, and Sim mode is too easy. I think the shooting percentages on Sim mode just need to be bumped up. the 3 pt shooting percentages are especially bad on sim mode. It's rare for a team to shoot over 28 percent on 3's in sim mode. this is a big reason why sim mode is too easy, because the CPU bricks almost all of their 3's

Neither of these game styles are right. in other game modes you can adjust the sliders, but in My Player you don't have sliders, so you are stuck with these flawed game styles. I just hope they add sliders to My Player in 2k12.

well it's not only the sliders to factor in,it's also the difficulty. If you're playing on pro or all star then it's naturally easy for CPU to score especially with Default sliders & it's naturally easy for you to win with Sim sliders but what i do is play on Pro with Default sliders until My MyPlayer has reached a sufficient Overall then i switch to Superstar or HOF to make it more challenging & unpredictable.
