like i was sayin tho it all depends on how ur style of play is... wether ur a slow tempo half court type of baller, or ur a im a score of transitions (ie fastbreaks) type of guy... all the tips that everybody gave up earlier to me are good decisions wen theres nuthin left to do... but wit 10 seconds left on the clock AND UR EXPERIENCED u still have alot of options...

Again those iso plays and pick and roll plays will really work on amateur players.. wen ur playin tha experienced players.. they will all ready have a good defensive set, set up, and in the back of their heads they are waiting for the pick and roll, or settin up a defensive play to stop the iso...

the best way to learn bro is to for 1 figure out which team is ur best team and go and learn all of your players plays.... learn the weaknesses and strengths of the plays... learn which plays create more then 1 option for a designated player...(EXAMPLE... if u set 1 up for ray ray, can can u dish off to sum 1 else open or is he your only option)...

also your best bet would be to learn your inbounding plays too...most players NEVER expect those....
what are these defensive sets and plays you speak of?

the plays all depend on tha team that u run with.

my fav and best team is orlando.... i no there play book in and out, so i would no the exact plays to run in late game situation like were talking bout... 9 times out of 10 they always work because like i was sayin most people are lookin for a quick iso, or a quick pick and roll... so the plays all depend on that teams playbook...

i dont no if you have noticed but along with each teams specific playbook, there are inbounding plays... lets say u got called for a personal foul that dosnt take u to the line, or ur callin a timeout, or wateva u may be doin... depending were u called that timeout and were u got foulded will determine were u will inbound tha ball... if you are past tha halfcourt line, and ur down this is a good time to call a inbound play... those are bassically plays whose sole purpose is to get u a quick basket out of that timeout or fould situation... once again it all depends on your situation....

      EXAMPLE

as far as your defensive sets all this bassically is knowing how to play your opponent... knowing which players you want to guard who, how you want your opponent to be guarded.. wether u wanna play em tight sag off double team or deny tha ball, or the defensive play you wanna run... believe it or not all that makes a great difference during the game and most def.. during late game situations

yeah i know about the inbound plays, also the 'coach' will 'draw up' inbounding plays for you in crunch time, that can work well sometimes that you can't choose from the normal playbook

but i also wish we could edit our inbounding playbook

might be time to give iggy some shine in late game situations

Re: What to do in Clutch Time?

To the OP, The best thing to do is to run a play with guys coming off of screens or use "pick & pop" around the ft line. That works alot for me because most ppl think I'm attacking the basket so they back up in the paint and leaves my bigs open. Also depending on what team u use post up and see if u can draw a double team, if the double team don't come work your magic with them post moves.

Pick and roll, try to get a matchup switch, then drive inside hoping for a foul. Or, if you have a time out, call it with like 3 seconds to go, get your best 3 pt shooter, run him over towards the ball to attract your man, then run all the way around the court to the sideline, you usually lose your man and make an open shot
