I averaged 47 ppg in the series with Melo and swept the Magic. I thought I was going to have to adjust my sliders or something, then I lost the first two games of the next round vs Indiana (who upset the Heat!). I won the next four games to advance but Melo was human again.
I use custom sliders with real FG% and in my Knicks association I had to play the Heat in the 2nd round of the playoffs and I lost the first two games at there arena but I came back to win the series 4-2. In game 4 at home Melo dropped 64 points going 24-28 from the field and 8-9 free throws. I ended up winning the game 103-91 and then in game 5 back in there arena he dropped 66 points going 22-29 from the field and 13-13 on free throws. I won the game in overtime 127-119. In those 2 games I saw some of the best shots I've ever seen in game and in real life, including a contested 3 pointer while being double teamed off an inbound pass. That shot was just insane. He also played 42 minutes in both of those games and maybe thats why he got hurt in game 6, maybe I over used him idk but he got injured in the 2nd quarter and hes out for 2-3 weeks so I have to get to the finals without him :/

on a side note I think a lot has to do with the momentum of the game and how well your player is doing. If hes been making his shots, then later in the game he will be able to even make those tough ones. Also if you get your player heated up then he will hit from everywhere even half court shots at the end of the quarter. I've seen Lebron who went 1-9 in the first half and then in 4th quarter when his team was down he kept jacking up shots and couldn't get them to go in, even the wide open ones. I've also seen players like Jason Richardson or Deng hit shot after shot from the 3 point line all game long even with a hand in there face.

I have a solid buzz on right now thanks to Southern Comfort lol, so I descided to let it rip with a quick game Charlotte(me) @Utah and see how it went. I legit scored 88 points with DJ Augistine thru 8 mins to go in the 3rd quarter using OS sliders. He just couldn't miss once I got in the flow of his 3 pt release lol. I was on pace for 100 when he fouled out haha. I honestly laugh at myself for trading this guy in earlier associations because of Kemba. I am going to let Kemba run the SG spot and let DJ light it up at PG. Truly has anyone else approached 100 with a player playing 12 min quarters and HOF mode?
The way to build a good team is not to load it with star players, but to load it with players who play well together with an identity

I scored I think it was 105 with Jordan in the 69point Celtic challenge on hall of fame, I believe they are 8 minute quarters, and I scored 99 before I fouled out once with somebody, a pg but I can't remember who for the life of me, I just remember being pisses I fouled out at 99 lol

And you're right man, it's all about getting that release down and getting that rhythm going

Definitely, man you release perfect after perfect, the cpu will let you start knocking them down. You get a shooter like DJ going and its a rap. Nothing like 3-4 straight threes lol.

I had a game where I shot something like 90% for the game. I'm a center, so a bunch were inside shots, but quite a few were fades over a defender. Hell I even made a 3 pointer (I had 52 3 pt at the time)

Went back and found the numbers for it
              16/19
1/2 3pt (one was a half court shot at buzzer)
              100% free throws
