Re: Can MORE Classic Teams be far behind?

Disc space would not be an issue.

The only things I think could stand in the way could be development time/resources(not likely), or more realistically, money. I also know EA signed a number of former players for NBA Jam On Fire, so that might also be an issue, if any of those contracts were exclusive.

And then you have Kareem, who they really, really need to bring back, and Barkley, who has always been on my 2K wishlist.

Dont knwo if anybody is interested...but if you are on PS3, download my roster from 2kShare. Search for username: Sparco3t. I created an All-Time team for each franchise. Not specific years or teams but an all-time team........

Really unnecessary comment. What makes you think they won't have those things? They did in 2K11.

They did not have those things in 2K11. The "Old Chicago Stadium" was not accurate for one (center court anyone?). Jordan's wristband was not accurate either because early pictures from 2K had it on his elbow. Larry Bird looked like the guy that works at the gas station by my house. So some courts, accessories, and player faces were not accurate. The comment was okay in my opinion, but I do want them to "bother"--bother getting more of that stuff correct.

they did not in 2k11. some teams didnt even have bench players.
some faces were waay off(bryon russells was just horrible), john stockton has baggy shorts among other things...it was not accurate as it could be.

Re: Can MORE Classic Teams be far behind?

Come on guys... I can't expect perfection... I think 2k did a hell of a job creating every single year in 2k11. I can't believe someone said don't do them if its not perfect. That's totally BS in my opinion. Just because they couldn't certain things right doesn't mean they shouldn't do it all. Relax please... I really wish people would stop acting like that. "OMG his headband is suppose to be backwards"...

And that's not to say they don't need to improve certain things year to year. Don't get me wrong I know our complains and thread are usually what get things fixed. But that guys comment needs to go. Wasn't needed....

Yeah, everything wasn't perfect, but I'd rather have what we had in 2K11 than nothing at all.

I'm assuming they want to perfect it even more this year. Of course, all cyberfaces and accessories won't be 100% accurate, but since it's a video game and it's still enjoyable to play, I don't mind it at all.

Exactly... Yes they are missing a few players (probably because they couldn't afford them or the player didn't want to sign or they just felt weren't need.) So tough luck they are not in the game. Brian Williams missing on the Bulls. Might have been a huge problem for me if they didn't have Steve Kerr or Dennis Rodman. But Brian Williams... come on...

I think they want it to be prefect. They have certain things that come up during the process that stop them from being prefect.

Yessir, agreed. I'd say I'm about 99% certain that 2K didn't just decide to fill out incomplete rosters just because they were lazy. It wasn't a situation of:

"Well boss, we've got eight members of the '97 Bulls, we're about to add Dickey Simpkins."

                      ". . . .No, let's just call it good."

In terms of accessories, arenas, faces and otherwise, I agree there's definitely room for improvement. However, I think the biggest objection came from how these complaints were made today. If things aren't completely accurate, they shouldn't even try? I hope they'd never consider this, for I feel we'd be missing a lot of awesome features. It sounded a little harsh. I hope they improve and continue to strive for a more realistic experience, but I'd hate for them to dock a mode because a few player's faces were jacked up.

                        Kotaku:
Jordan's return to the cover raises the question of if "The Jordan Challenge," NBA 2K11's 10-game recreation of his most memorable performances ever, will also come back. Argent was deliberately vague.

"We have a bunch more stuff to share later. What I would say is, we're not going to rest on that," Argent said. "That was such a great thing for us, a great hit for the fans, and we want to bring that to the next level, and bring the key feature set to the next level. The details are forthcoming, but suffice to say, fans will not be disappointed."

So are the 2K11 Jordan Challenges going to be in 2K12? Possibly 2K can improve The Jordan Challenges in 2K12 if their coming back.

My guess is that instead of challenges like score this much points shoot that much from the floor it's going to be more like "replay this playoff series or this finals series". That's my guess.
Especially since Bird and Magic are in the game and they had some heated finals games against each other.
