Got a good take, too bad the defender that's part of the animation only puts his hands up instead of jumping.

Nah, it was an animation that played out. It would be a next level situation if we could actually dynamically create moves like that.

I would rather have it be an animation. Looks a lot more natural.

            Great capture!

My favorite thing about that shot will always be the reaction of the NJ bench. The closest thing I've seen to that is during VC's prime years, he got some big reactions from opposing benches!
It's spot on exactly the same thing.

What's so surreal is that if you've never seen the clip of the move, and you see it in the video game first, it would be totally logical to call BS on the developers.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

I think MJ had another little pump that doesn't exist on the gameplay clip. Still, it's an awesome recreation of that move.

Yeah the motion is a bit too smooth in the game, instead of sharp right-left-down movements.

I'm not knocking the animation that's there, it still looks great, but it's certainly not "spot on exactly the same thing". They would need to mo cap a 28 year old MJ to get it spot on, and, well, I don't think any of those exist?

Like I said, it was a once in a lifetime shot for MJ even, cutting perfectly through the defense.

                                Great recreation there by MM.
