His second year in the league, he'd probably be somewhere between an 80 to 83.

kobe bryant overall raitings has been confirmed to be a 94 in 2k12,kobe has slowed down past couple years,i believe now the best sg in the league is dwade,no disrespect to kobe definitely first ballot hall of famer but dude has kinda regressed past couple years, despite that hes still one of the better players in the league. dont let that overall fool you, they mean nothing, certain attributes are more important then overall raiting

Yes we know what current Kobe is rated, that was not the OP's question. Refer to the bold words in the post quoted above, or actually read some of thread before you respond.

Just to make things clear, these are approximations of 2k's formulas, not the actual ones, cuad has said this in other threads. I also ran a couple test on the block rating formula with Bogut(2.6 BPG in 2010-11) and Dwight Howard(2.4 BPG) the results were Bogut 96 and Howard 86. So take these with a grain of salt.

Don't forget the most important aspect of ratings is tendencies my friend, so while X may have a higher block value, Y is just as good because he contests more.

2KSports calculates BLK rating entirely by BLK%. That is what an r^2 value so close to 1 (.9992) means (basically). Andrew Bogut had a BLK% of 5.8 and Dwight Howard had a BLK% of 4.9 for the 2010-11 season.

BLK% on the left and 2k's BLK rating on the right. I removed obvious outliers. There are about 70 data points here

Each formula comes with an r^2 value so you can decide if it is good enough for you. Tendencies and even more ratings will affect game play. I want formulas for those too. That would be a good insight.
