I would have bought 2K12 without any updates, just a new season to be honest. And yeah, that's kinda sad.

Ok real stupid here, but does anyone else think the new generic kicks look like Jordans?

Nice updates to the post game, too bad my only post option really is David Lee, although he isnt too bad. Ekpe Udoh is solid as well. I'll find a way to make it work lol

                I. Love. 2k.

Everything I asked for last year for the post game seems to have been improved and then some. Hopefully the moves are tied really well to ratings like they say, so we don't get any Brendan Haywood's playing out of character. I was already sold but...gotdayum, we still have a Defense insight?? And then a Controls insight??? And we haven't even gotten around to Association!?

2k12 Post Game - The game within the game.

Man, I can see it now...You pull off two consecutive baseline spins with success. Knowing this, your opponent wises up and "anticipates" the spin. Third move, shoulder fake baseline into across the lane running hook. 2 points. Fourth possession, catch the ball right on the block, no used dribble. Lean into defender, fake middle, fake baseline-to-hook shot. Glass.

                **** me.

EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

This was the best Insight so far in my opinion. Love how deep the post game will be in NBA2K12.

Hearing about the Rick Mahorn trick (some of you old schoolers know what I'm talking about) different types of counters and offensive options makes me all giddy inside.

Wondering if Penny has a decent post rating, I recall when he came into the league he was skinny and frail so he was mainly a slasher, he bulked up in the 1995 season and developed a little post game and that was when all the talk of him being the next Magic Johnson came into play.

Getting back on topic though, I'm eagerly anticipating Mo's (I know you're EDOT now, but you'll always be Momentous, big homie) Demystifying the post game video as well as seeing countless Youtube vids from AmeDawg killing dudes with Big Al.
If he isn't I'm sure you can edit him. Great insight! Can't wait for the defensive insight to hear how we will be able to combat hop spin dunks and euro-steps.

Don't worry penny is 6 7 so smaller guards will have a problem...

I hope that the new post mechanic results in less 3 seconds in the paint. I always hate getting that 360 spin animation instead of a shot or a slow turning fadeaway with no urgency.

NBA 2K12 is going all the way in! Post offense wow so many options and post defense you can counter. The one thing I did see is that the flick flick moves are redone now everything can be a flick flick move. You can flick flick from a fadeway to a hook or something else.
