4am if I remember correctly...I woke up early only to go through the routine of using the xbox search feature AND using Xbox.com to get the demo.

I remember I had to download online through here since it didn't show up on the box...

I would expect the same routine tomorrow with a thread informing on how to get it...

i really don't mind that 2k offers such stripped down demos...it's just smart business...the point of a demo is to give people a SMALL sampling of the game...if you offer too much in the demo, some people will just keep playing the demo and won't feel the need to buy the full game.

I agree with this.
You can't complain about a demo it's just there to 'demonstrate' what the game will be like, so you get a feel for the gameplay.

I'm happy with whatever they give us. Since the game is coming out in 2 weeks (!) at this point I'm just happy I get a small taste of how it's going to be.

And even then, I'll just keep playing the demo until I can buy the game. There are so many gameplay additions this year (in addition to the new play calling, which won't be in the demo), the demo is sure to keep me occupied for entire weeks.

Probably no luck but I'm going to ask anyway. I don't have a gold membership for xbox360. Anyone have xbox live gold member day pass or something that they can give me? I'm totally broke at the moment but dying to play this demo. Thanks.

Man nobody who loves this series is going to skip it over a non stripped to the bone demo

Come on with the excuses that keeps coming up... Last year the playcalling was touted and all you could really do to enjoy it was to cheese with Kobe

Yes and no. It will be available only to Gold subscribers until next Tuesday, but after that, it will be free.
