Count me in as somebody else who noticed a difference after changing the setting to hard. The games are actually tense now, and I can't just feed Dirk everytime.

      Day 1 purchase for me.

On defense take one of your defenders and run over out of bounds to the table, sideline, refs, bench, etc. You will see your player bumping into people and hoping over things...... Yes people things like this is what I look for in video games.

I must admit that playing 2k online is not really fun, but I love playing with friends. Day 1 purchase! Also while the graphics might not be improved, the animation, physics and just overall feel is light years ahead of 2k11.

Also the ball physics are amazing........

Loving the demo, been playing it non-stop.

I noticed the Australian demo doesn't have the small court logos inside the arc, like 2K11. Will it be like that in the retail PAL version?

Also, will the NTSC-USA version be region free? I want the small team logo's inside the arc, just for a more authentic feel when playing.

I could not hit to save my life initially in MLB and was getting curb stomped by the cpu (profile was set on Hard initially). Once I set it to easy I was able to hit the ball way more consistently.

Well I just went into the dashboard and changed it to hard and the heat are playing alot more aggressively, especially on d. They are much more aggressive in the passing lanes as well with Wade and LBJ intercepting and starting their two man fast break. Haslem actually blocked one of Dirk's fadeaway's for the 1st time in about 20-25 games. Again could be placebo but check it out.
Wait how do you do this ?

Forgot to mention in my original post, but I'm glad that directional passing is much better this year. Last year I would drive and try to quickly pass to the open man, but often the pass would go to the wrong player and get intercepted.

Click on the big X button in the middle of your controller. scroll over to settings and then select profile. from profile select game defaults. from there go to general and change your difficulty to hard. save and back all the way out.

EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

The demo looks good. I can say that a lot of my problems with 2k have been fixed.

Pretty pumped for 2k this year.

For all of the PS3 users, there is a way to enhance the color content and make the game look a lot better. If you go under settings on your PS3 and change the display to "FULL" its looks as good as the xbox 360 display
