Well...just expereinced the chair pull feature. I was backing down with Tyson Chandler (Aggresive with the RT held down) and he fell forward comically. I wanted to replay it...but I forgot we don't have a replay feature in the demo

Boot Dallas doesn't have any quick defenders on the floor. It feels different with quicker defenders. But in reality who can really stay in front of lebron ? LOL. Also done forget hold both trigger to enter your quick defensive shuffle.

When they turn the corner on you on defense be sure to adjust your angle to cut them off. It is not like last year where you move diagonal and the animation saves you. Think of retreating to protect the angle to the basket. Your going to have to give up something with slow footed defenders.

Not gonna lie czar... This lack of physical animations concerns me for competitive play. I relied on those animations to tame turbo mashers last year. So far I'm not confident I can force people to play smart ball to win... I for see frustration in my future. Even if I dis engage and cut off the angle the shot stick pull up is cash. so I feel vulnerable on perimeter .... What am I missing?

Can anyone explain the free throw system? The percentage feedback is kinda confusing

Instead of showing you "Late", "Slightly Late", "Perfect", or "Slightly Early" they now show a % when you shoot the free throw indicating how likely you are to make it.

To me its like when I was a kid and my grandma used to cook in the kitchen for Thanksgiving and I'd beg her to give me some her homemade dressing. It was already done, on the stove, covered in foil, making the entire house smell AWESOME. When I asked her for some, she didn't give me a plate, she'd give me a spoon full and say:

"That's it. We are eating at 4 and not a moment sooner, Landy."

That spoonful is the 2k demo.

Don't worry kids, the entire Thanksgiving dinner will be ready on Oct. 4th. Have some patience, the anticipation always made Thanksgiving dinner that much better.

I got J.Kidd hot by hitting my first three buckets.
Chandler was cutting the key, Kidd dribbling and Kidd dropped a no look pass to Chandler for the easy lay-in.
Great demo.

That's realistic, though. You have to pick your poison when guarding star players, especially if you're controlling a poor defender. You can either funnel them into the help defense, or let them take the shot from a greater distance. What isn't realistic is being able to use someone like Fisher to bump Derrick Rose all the time.

Waiting for the demo to download. Quick (trivial) question. Does Dirk adjust the side of his jersey (around the collar area) all the time like he does in real life? It's a running joke me and a few friends have -- how many times he'll do it in a game. Just wanted to know if that was something 2k Sports caught and maybe threw in the game.

I haven't even noticed in the game. I've played it through maybe ten times and I'm still so astonished by everything else, I haven't looked into that kinda stuff. It's just amazing. Dirk really feels like Dirk, so I wouldn't doubt it.

Anyone out there looking to download the demo with XBOX Live Silver, plain and simple, create a new account/gamertag and connect it to XBOX Live. They will ask you which XBOX Live Gold membership you want and select: Ask me later. (Or however they phrase it) The next screen will give you a one month trial of XBOX Live Gold. That's what I did, worked like a beauty. (Sorry if this has been said a 100 times already, too busy playing the demo to scroll thru 27 awesome pages of comments )

The fast shuffle defense by holding both triggers is a little scary. the defender moves a little too fast. Try it yourself and you can move faster shuffling than than running

stole the ball with j kidd off lebron, thought I was safe with an easy fast break layup and lebron comes out of nowhere with the chase down block, it was awesome....
