    i'm sorry that some of you can't take any criticism that people have for 2k....

    i'm a 2k fan too, just an unbiased one, not a nut sucker like some of you.

    so ya, i will say what like about 2k and what i don't like about it.

    if u really got that excited about audio insight, u have issues. lol

          my god....2k does not dissapoint at all...

          damn they really went at this game with all creative juices flowing...terrific!

          I love how they didnt just tweak or add things to the general audio, they litterally categorized every part of the audio, and then went at changing all of that, id love to here how a guy like steve kerr would talk about his experience compared to the the experience he had with live,

          I love that they realized how stats played a part in the audio, scoring 20 pts each in the first quarter when playing 5 min quarter certainly was a high scoring game, but its closer to being a low scoring game in regards to a 12 min game. In 2k11 they treated the score as a high scoring game regardless of the quarter length, i like how they have changed it to better incorporate the length of quarters.

          I love the various details they have taken into consideration in regards to the "greatest player " mode. Thats just insane.

          And the cherry on top is the new ability to do audio patches. Meaning players that might be in the dleague or whose names might be pronounced wrong, will now be updated with their names and extra dialouge just for them. I am hopeful they do this with my player (i create a player with the last name Hawk, yet, the closest last name that the commentators can speak is Hawkins....so i either deal with that, or stick to them calling my number or nickname) so that people who are using common names that arent in the database can have their names added.

            I was talking about what you said about Steve Kerr not knowing anything about the game.

            He played in the NBA and was a GM and what have you done?

            Has nothing to with me being a nutsucker, it has something to do with you not knowing what you're talking about.

            I'm 99.99% sure Steve Kerr knows more about basketball than you do.

              Is it me or does kellogg lines sound scripted. He just does not sound natural. Happy to hear about the crowds. Just hope that they truley do react appropriately. The crowd reactions really add to a game and in an intense game the crowd can make the game even more fun.

              On another note I was dissapointed that custom sounds were not mentioned. That is part of audio right? This gives me the impression that it was not improved or work on much at all.

                played in the NBA doesn't mean he has great knowledge of the game today.

                just like if u are a great basketball player doesn't mean you are great coach or GM......

                ya he was a GM, the worst GM I have seen in quite sometime. lol

                turned the Suns from a contender to lottery team, then quit....oh he sure is a great GM with a lot knowledge....

                anyone that actually knows basketball would know Kerr doesn't have a lot knowledge by listening to him.....

                  How did he turn them into a lottery team, they made it to the WCF his last year. You want to talk about bad GM's bring up Otis Smith or Bryan Colangelo. Kerr wasn't great but he is not the worst in quite some time.

                    Does anybody know if they'll fix player/team-specific dialogue relating to specific years? For example, in last year's game they'd talk about how Chris Paul led the league in steals or how Cleveland lost Lebron (referring to 2010-11).

                    The problem was that in Association mode, they'd say it every year, regardless of what happened the year before. I know this is pretty nitpicky, but it kind of takes away from the immersiveness of it all, which NBA 2k does pretty well for the most part.

                      yes they made the WCF that year, but were they any legit?? no

                      Suns had multiple all-stars and one of most fun teams to watch in the league, then Kerr turned them to what?? Nash and ???

                      why did he quit after they made the WCF?? because even he knew they already screw the team up.....

                        Some people must think every sports game announcer to get like Gus Johnson when something big happens. I doubt even Gus Johnson could authentically get like Gus Johnson unless he's physically watching a game in front of him.

                          yep i know all that, the video was suppose to come before audio, but now ronnie hasn't even said anything about, so the order was control insight and video, audio insight... thats what i was saying

                              I hope the actual pa announcer mimics the teams pa announcer. Its important because he is the voice of the team and arena.

                                What happens when you trade a player in association then? I guess each PA announcer could just record all 500 NBA players names right? Oh plus the 400 from legend teams. Lazy 2k bastards!
