I sucked it up during the rookie showcase, but I went like 13th in the draft to the Rockets. I suck at this games, my player I'm like 62 overall and cant hit an open shot to save my life. Any tips?

Highest i've went is 10th to the Bucks as a PG. They will always pass on you if you play nice and say you can learn from Brandon Jennings ,but if you play hardball and say draft me, trade him the'll pick you.

I've seen this conversation before and a guy said just as an experiment he hacked a My Player and got like 72 points, 48 rebounds, 28 assists or something like that and still went 3rd so i'm guessing that's the highest possible.

my 5'7 pass first pg got picked 13th by the jazz (they sometimes play me at SG wth).. i still really suck in the game though lol..

Don't you have a hard time playing at SG? I wonder what it's like in 2K12 to play with a 5'7" SG...

What about the lowest? Has anyone dropped below the Pacers at 15? I wonder if you can get picked in the 20's or so..

ya i had a 24pt/12/rb/10assist triple double with 1 turnover as an athletic SF and gave the worst interview responses i could and went to the mavs at 26th.

I got drafted 10th by the Bucks. Jennings, Jackson, and Bogut are literally the only players on my roster rated 70+. My team is horrible, I wanna go to the Bobcats and form the league's youngest starting lineup with Kemba and Biyombo. That team would be a force for YEARS to come. Don't forget that MJ is the owner.

Yes you can go lower than 15th. I got drafted 17th by the Knicks as a point guard. I was wondering if anyone went as low as the second round?

The lower the number is, the higher you are in the draft and the more money you make in your rookie season

I was only drafted 13th by the Jazz with a 7'0 back to basket center that was completely dominant in the showcase game. 32 points and 11 rebounds. Out performed everyone it seemed. But when I didn't get an interview from the one of the top picks I just went with my best option in Utah.

Best I got was 8th with the Pistons as a 3pt specialist PG, but that's not that high.

That's bull. As a SG, I just scored 49 points, 4 rebounds, 12 assists, 28 steals, 0 turnovers, 26 highlight plays, and an A+ team grade through cheating (just experimenting to see the highest pick I can get given crazy stats like this triple-double), and got interviewed by Washington, Toronto, and Detroit (Projected to go 6th to the Wizards). I answered the Raptors questions perfectly. They even said they would be ecstatic if I was still on board when it was their turn to pick. They ended up taking the created player "Nick Brown" who scored 6 points and 6 rebounds in the Showcase over me and I went to the Wizards. This let me know it's impossible (at least for a SG), to get higher than 6th. The only reason I can think of that is keeping me from getting better than 6th (if it is even possible) would probably be rebounds, but I can't seem to ever get over 5 rebounds in the showcase using an athletic shooting guard as I'm either never in a position to, or when I am in a position, the opposing team always scores. Aside from that, come on, 28 steals in the game? If it is true that 3rd is the highest you can get, it must be as a big man or possibly point guard, but it must be said that I've never seen any proof of someone getting picked 5th let alone 3rd overall.

Btw, best I ever got without cheating was 7th overall to the Kings. I had about 33 points, 5 rebounds, 10 assists, 2 steals and 0 turnovers.

UPDATE: Just ran through another experiment, this time with an athletic PG. I had 43 points, 10 rebounds (surprisingly I got more rebounds with an athletic PG than athletic SG), 12 assists, 13 steals and 2 turnovers. I was interviewed by Detroit, Sacramento and Charlotte. Drafted 8th overall by Detroit. Case in point: given the stat line above, it's pretty much impossible to get higher than 6th overall. I'm willing to try this again later shooting for 0 turnovers, but I'm sure I'll get interviewed by Washington and Toronto only to be taken 6th like everyone else.
