I just hope the new draft interface for the Online Association applies to Offline Association, because it looks really good, and might be easier to navigate. I sincerely doubt I'll be playing any kind of Online Association, NBA 2K online just really isn't for me.

Re: NBA 2K12 Developer Insight #13 - Online Assocation
I think the biggest issues with offline were just the need for AI improvement (something they've gotten better at every year), and I'm sure they've worked on that as well.
In theory, online associations would have significantly less AI interaction (although still plenty, such as Free Agency for example) unless you're playing in a league with a lot of other CPU teams.Comment

Re: NBA 2K12 Developer Insight #13 - Online Assocation
Not really understanding the lukewarm and sometimes negative sentiment to this mode on this thread. This has got to be the most anticipated mode (well having been on OS I'm not too sure) of the entire series and the the general feeling is just "Meh"?
Sidenote: I hope we can edit rosters, because some of the ratings are insane.Comment

Re: NBA 2K12 Developer Insight #13 - Online Assocation
The two things I am most curious about went unmentioned. Custom rosters and full sliders. I really need to be able to put the rookies on the teams for Association mode. I would love to assume they are included in Online Association, but history has told me to never assume when it comes to game features.Comment

i wonder if weekly and monthly awards r in online association as well as end of the year awards..It might sound like a dumb question to ask but for some reason Madden doesnt have this.Comment

Re: NBA 2K12 Developer Insight #13 - Online Assocation
If i was 2k i wouldn't have changed much in offline association either, seems like the smart thing to do cause of the whole cba stuff, don't want to focus on something that can be changed or altered in a few days/weeks/months.... And now who will bash the offline first saying "2k doesn't care ect?"Live, Love, Learn
and Play Basketball
I live in a word where I give respect to get it back.

this did not answer my main question, do you need 32 teams or can have an association of say 14 teams only users, I dont want my association public, because of cheddar heads, nor do I want cpu teams in, because if I wanted to play the cpu, I would play offline.Comment

Re: NBA 2K12 Developer Insight #13 - Online Assocation
This may be the single greatest mode ever. The fact that they have included every feature online that is offline and even allow you to play up to 10 games ahead. Could only hope that you can edit rosters so I can add legends to my fantasy draft!"Don't Count the Days, Make the Days Count!"
