Except you can use this method to get the legends showcase players onto regular rosters(PS3, 360 can hex edit it) also, so........no.

I downloaded the roster file with all the legends in the free agent pool and was able to start an association, am I able to do an online association with that roster file with all the legends? If so how do I load that file into the online portion.

No, you can't use any custom rosters for OA.

This doesn't work anymore now that the minor patch was released earlier today. What is 2K's problem? We have bought the game, so why can't we edit it like we want? I want to be able to edit the players ages, so that I can play longer with my favourite players who's getting old, and I want to be able to include the legends into this game. That was one of the main reasons for why I bought the game.

I'm trying to put the legends in the free agents pool and it isn't working. I put the team in association mode and export it, then I load it to my roster. Then when I go to assign free agents to the team, it says "You may not assign a player to a created team. Edit the team in Create Team to add new players."

Even if I add new players via the editing the created team, I can't release the legends without permanently removing them. Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

I got that message many times but the method does work still. The trick that did it for me was to start a new season, then immediately back out of it and voila! But then again I did buy the DLC too so not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Late-to-party, irrelevant rant: My single favorite part of 2k11 was bringing Seattle back with cosmic karma by giving them Durant and Russ. I still can't believe it costs 70 bucks to have fun with the Legends. Crock

Is there a way to use the Legens from Legends Showcase that are not assigned to a team in the Create a Legend Mode? e.g. Shawn Bradley?

Is it possible to use any of the Legends in My Player Mode and start with them at younger age?

Is there any way I can add players to the current legend teams? To replace the generic players?

If I buy the DLC will I be able to bring those legends into the free agent pool to distribute to whatever team I choose?

Just worked for me, I added today's new addition to the Christmas day rosters with everything updated that 2k left out. Updated numbers, player movements and some accessories done.
