wait for more reviews because IGN overrate titles a lot. Also the 2K12 does have wierd faces. A lot of the faces are off from last years version.

question about this, but does that seem more of an in game issue? I ask because I watched the live stream a guy did of the game a couple of days ago and he went through a lot of the player faces in the Edit Player feature, and IMO (except for CP3) most looked really good.

I agree that some of the faces are off. In one of the trailers Mutombo and Isiah Thomas did not look right. And from what I saw Zo and Larry Johnson were a bit off too, IMO. Dirk needs some work too. In past games if I recall Steve Nash looked weird(more weirder and uglier than in real life) and probably still does. Kobe is definitely an improvement though.

Is there a written (does that make sence?) review?

Didn't 2K say that they can update player faces this year from their new updating system? Hope so but definitely not a major knock on an overall rating.

i understand than not all faces are perfect, but until they can literally scan every player's actual head and import it directly into the game, there will never be 100 percent perfect faces. with this console generation's limited graphical capability, you just can't get too upset over a player's face or hair not looking right...

Gameplay and features is really all you can judge the game on. Every sports game is going to have players that look perfect and players than don't look great.

that's true but the problem is they had players faces perfect in 2K11 and now they are unrecognizable (Mo Williams).

You want to minimize the work put in every single area of the game and feel the need to pigeon-hole the game by giving some random number score... and YOU haven't even played the damn game yet.

They didn't do anything to association?? They put the damn thing ONLINE (maybe now you'll see it) to play with anyone you want in the world! Don't say they didn't do a damn thing - they did what everyone was asking for.

Damn what is this forum coming to??!?

does it really matter if there off a bit, The models as a whole is what counts, I mean you can't even see the faces when in action, except when at the line or in replays, so who cares, unless your zooming the replays and making out with the models face on your Huge TV.

"Faces guys, come on, while most are spot on, 2K could have made the game with blank faces on the player models and I would still have bought it. The game is pure greatness"

I've always been interested in the PC Mods to get the most out of the graphics, and this might be the first year I get both PC and Xbox versions. My biggest gripe has always been, aside from some gameplay issues, is the player accessories. I'm excited to see they have finally added the Dwight Howard sleeve into the game and from what I can tell, they added the Derrick Rose knee pads that are longer and more stylized to him than your normal knee pads. I can't wait to play this game.
