Player edit/Franchise/Playoffs

Ok, so my game freezes on me whenever I attempt to edit a player or start an actual game. It's been a week or 2, but if i remember correctly, it lets me start a franchise, and I know it lets me start a Playoffs mode, and whenever i try to actually play a game, it freezes. I believe quickplay yields the same issue. I haven't tried My Player, but I'm pretty confident the same thing would happen. And the player edit is pretty self-explanatory. i can make roster moves of any kind, but whenever I Try to edit a guy, it freezes on the loading screen before the player edit menus. Any help would be awesome.

PS I believe my roster is the initial release day roster, as I haven't moved my xbox to connect to Live to fix this, as the lack of playability has halted my interest in doing so.

Try deleting your Nike iD file.

Quick Game Screen/NBA Today


So, NBA today is correctly updated with the match-ups for the current day. However, it won't allow me to select or click the nba today matchup(I only want to play it so I can get the playoff commentary).

I'm in year 2 of my Association with the Cavs, finally having fun with the game using Paul Pierce's rosters and I'm at the end of December but every time I try to advance past December 31, the game freezes. I have tried at least 5 times and it happens every time. I am really enjoying this Association and don't want to have to start over so does anyone know how I can get past this?

Yeah ,really too many bugs regarding OA,
I cant answer you mate,cause we also have bug, 20th april ,and no playoff still,all played all matches but nothing :/
Like it didnt update at all...

There have been some games I played where we get disconnected. Sometimes the games get simulated. But there are a number of times where the game still shows as unplayed but we cannot send invites or propose times basically, the game is unplayable and we just have to wait for it to get simmed! Online association sucks. They should have kept the commissioner options to reset the game in case of disconnects or the game being simmed. 2k is so arrogant that they sell their product without fixing out the bugs. And they have the balls to sell dlcs when they can't even fix the main game. I hope they get a worthy rival next time so they'd improve on the game and their effin servers. Up yours 2k!

EVERY game i play I never get the game wrap up at the end and it goes straight to the stat screen

My brother and I are playing a Miami Heat association where he player locks LeBron and I do the same for Wade. It's actually really fun. Anyways, I was editing coach profiles to fix the assists issue and as I was resigning from the Pistons to go back to the Heat it froze. And now every time I attempt to resign it freezes and we're stuck with Detroit. Any suggestions? I'll be very disappointed if it can't be fixed as we were having a blast with this association.

Bug/Glitch Description: While playing games both in exhibition and in my season I am constantly having the On-the-Fly-Controls, as well as the Positional Plays/Pick Control icons, pop up on their own and interfere with my gameplay. This problem has been occurring quite often and I'm certain that I am not touching the buttons and that my controller isn't malfunctioning. It's really coming to a point where I almost don't want to play the game anymore because I get so frustrated over it. Any fixes for this problem? Please help ASAP!

I've been having this problem too. For me, it happens more when I am charging the controller. Not sure how to eliminate it completely, though.

Yes! Has always happened to me since I bought the game on the drop date. I have all updates and even deleted all updates to only patch with the latest, no luck. It's a ridiculous bug bc as u say, it makes gameplay near impossible at times.

I thought it was just me. I was having this problem a lot in 2K11 as well, so that definitely tells me it's something within the NBA 2K programming and not my controller. It seems to happen in moments when the CPU is trying to make a run, almost like it's happening intentionally to prevent the user from executing properly. And I bought a brand new controller just before 2K12 dropped just in case it was a controller issue. The same thing kept happening, however.

Whenever i start association mode with a created team, The team select will show the created team with another team's record and the team rankings are off. And when i play a game or do the draft with said teams. David Stern will use the name of the team that's supposed to have said record in team select. (Ex: Created team shows up as having a 57-25 record from year before (Dallas Mavericks record) David stern will pronounce team as "Dallas Mavericks" during the draft.)
