I can't wait until the game comes out, I see my Grizzlies got some respect in the rankings, and my Pistons fell off but I will still be using both of my favorite teams [both part of my profile name]. Oct 4 aand the midnight release can't get here quick enough.

why don't they ever include the Nets uniforms from when J-Kidd was there and they went to the Finals. They had the white homes, blue road jerseys and grey alternates yet they always leave them out.

This was actually two seasons ago, before they went retro for good.

hahaha i actually watched that game but thats a retro alt from the 80s/90s, i think the alt in 2k12 is a green version of the new unis with a fat stripe or whatever running down the side

Lol yeah. They looked similar at first, but it makes sense to have the alternate green follow the same pattern as the normal uniforms. I dropped the ball on that one.

yes! I saw someone said they are trying to distance themselves from the New Jersey name but i don't buy that considering they're still playing another year in New Jersey and aren't going to alienate their fanbase on purpose. Part of the reason they are still keeping the name Nets when they get to Brooklyn is in hopes that their fans in NJ remain loyal to them. Besides, the white jerseys they wore when Kidd was there say Nets on them anyway. It was the blue & silver ones that said New Jersey on them but again, why not keep them in there as throwbacks. They have other team's throwback uniforms from when they played in other cities. They don't even have the 90-97 Petrovic/Coleman unis that just say Nets on them.

All of these throwbacks and the only one they include says New York on them, they didn't even include the home version of that uniform that says Nets.

Absolutely no love for the Nets. The Sixers get all the jerseys, the A.I. era style, but its not like Jason Kidd wasn't anything back in the early 2000s. I understand the Nets suck, but what about the Cavaliers? Cavs have several jerseys, thats just ridiculous. I am praying to God they have the alternate Nets jerseys from the 2000s as some kind of Jersey Code, but I highly doubt it... Jason Kidd, Vince Carter, Richard Jefferson, Keith Van Horn, Kerry Kittles, K-Mart. NO LOVE AT ALL for the Nets Franchise.

I'm a diehard Nets fan, and I do not feel the same way. I am disappointed with the lack of jerseys, but there has got to be a reason. At least we got a nice new one!

The Nets are in motion to move to Brooklyn next year, and if you haven't noticed, they're trying to get rid of their ties with New Jersey and replace old jerseys as well and just leave "Nets" on them.

We used to be seeing them wear the home ABA jerseys at the IZOD (which was atrocious), but now we don't. Quite sad honestly.

I still don't get why the ABA throwbacks were removed for the past few years. Especially since the're not really NJ uniforms and would fit. I'm glad the aways are back, and ill probably use them the most but DAMMIT I've wanted the 80s and 90s Nets jerseys for the longest time.

Also curious as to why the white ABA's aren't in but the aways are now.

Side note: wish the move to Brooklyn would cause them to use the classic ABA uni but slightly updated
