I can't wait for my Hornets association this year.
    Davis, Gordon, and Rivers
With a couple of support players and we are going to do just fine.

Im looking for ways to get rid of Rashard Lewis and Andray Blatche. Any advice is welcomed. Im hoping i can find good trades or i might just waive em at least one of em.
I actually found trades for Blatche that were simple draft picks from cleveland and toronto but I want a solid SG on our roster so im in a bind rite now

              Chicago Bulls 0-1

I've started my 2012-2013 NBA season with the Chicago Bulls. The goal is to acquire a second star next to D. Rose, while keeping it realistic, because as of now the Bulls don't have what it takes to compete with the Heat or with the Nash-Kobe-Pau-Dwight Lakers.

Here are some things that I will be including to keep it real, and help myself acquire a star:

-I've lowered Derrick Rose's overall to 45 and I won't be playing him until after the trade deadline in order to replicate his real life ACL injury.

-I will allow myself the Bulls $5M TPE that they acquired in the Kyle Korver trade IRL within the first year of my season and off-season. How I will make it work is if I find a trade I want do, I will let myself acquire $5M more than what I am giving away by editing a player on the other team's salary down $5M to complete the trade, and then editing it back up after the trade.

-I've added Nikola Mirotic to the Bulls and will be leaving him in the D-League for two seasons while paying him the minimum.

-I will let myself acquire the Bobcat's pick that the Bulls own IRL from the Tyrus Thomas trade by following the real protection on the pick; top 12 protected in 2013, top 10 protected in 2014, top 8 protected in 2015, and unprotected in 2016.

-I will allow myself to amnesty one player (most likely Boozer) following the real amnesty clause rules. Once I choose which player I will amnesty, I will lower there contract to $0 and waive them so they don't count against the CAP.

Depth chart (for the beginning of the season)
              PG: Hinrich-Robinson-Teague-Moore-Rose
              SG: Hamilton-Belinelli
              SF: Deng-Butler
              PF: Boozer-Gibson-Radmanovic
              C: Noah-Mohammed

              D-League: Nikola Mirotic

I'm using the SiM 2 the MAXX roster with Yellz SiM sliders.

                WELCOME TO WASHINGTON
                WIZARDS NATION WE BELIEVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was my first decision and now after many associations Im right back to one of my favorite players in John Wall. He is lightening quick and has PHENOMENAL passing viOnesion and skills. Looking to turn the Wizards into a playoff team.

I had to get rid of Blatche by all means. SO I traded him to Orlando for Louisiana native and underrated Glen Davis. His jumpshot is MONEY and he has potential to grow with Wall.

                STARTERS
                PG John Wall
                SG Jordan Crawford
                SF Chris Singleton
                PF Glen Davis
                C Nene

                BENCH
                Kevin Seraphin
                Maurice Evans
                Jan Vesely
                Cartier Martin
                Shelvin Mack
                Trevor Booker
                Rashard Lewis
                Brian Cook

Rashard Lewis is on reserve. Cant find a trade and not gonna waive him this season. so he can be our insurance policy

                LETS GO WIZARDS NATION.
Are the Wizards ready to take that next step??
Is John Wall ready to have his breakout season and lead this franchise to the top of the league??
Is Randy Wittman the coach for this team??

Re: NBA 2K12: The Official Association/Online Association Thread

Bulls right now are on pace to be the fourth seed. In the games I've played, I can hang around with the better teams for a while, but then my offense will have periods where it goes completely stagnant and a 7 point deficit turns to 20. Nate Robinson seems to be the only person on this team that can get his own, and that's not a good thing. Especially since it ends up as me chucking threes because Robinson has trouble getting buckets in the paint because of his size.

I was reading the rumor mill and it said that Harden was going to test free agency. I'm contemplating attempting to, realistically, try to get the CAP space to potentially offer him a max contract and steal him from OKC.

Hamilton has an expiring and I can amnesty Boozer which would save $20M. But if I'm able to extend Taj, I'll likely have to choose between keeping Noah and Deng. I'm leaning towards trying to trade Deng at the deadline, but I'm still not sure whether I should go for Harden.

If I do get Harden, the roster would likely look like:

                      Rose/Teague
                      Harden/Hinrich/Belinelli
                      Butler
                      Taj
                      Noah

I'd like to re-sing Robinson, and hopefully get some more scoring at the frontcourt (or I could just wait a year for Mirotic...)

                      Decisions, decisions...

Decided to use the Spurs. I don't consider this a complete rebuild, because I think we're still a contender in the game. Obviously this trade wouldn't happen in real life, but I figured I'd do one big trade to start the association.

                          Tony Parker (Goes to Toronto)
                          DeJuan Blair (Goes to Houston)
                          Matt Bonner (Goes to Toronto)

Andrea Bargnani #11 (Goes to San Antonio)
Luis Scola #27 (Goes to San Antonio)

So now my lineup looks like this to start the season:

PG: Patrick Mills - Gary Neal
SG: Manu Ginobili - James Anderson
SF: Stephen Jackson - Kawhi Leonard - Daniel Green
PF: Andrea Bargnani - Boris Diaw
C: Tim Duncan - Luis Scola - Tiago Splitter

What does everybody think? Not the most realistic in the world, but at least I didn't trade away half my team like most people. I got rid of two guys that I think should be gone this year (Blair and Bonner) and managed to get a franchise big and a savvy one for my point guard, who's really expendable in this game.

Edit: Decided to sim to the 2015-16 season. Still haven't won a championship, but roster looks like...

PG: Cory Joseph - Jeremy Lamb
SG: J.R. Smith - Manu Ginobili - Jason Terry
SF: James Anderson - Evan Fournier
PF: Andrea Bargnani - Isaiah Austin - Luis Scola
C: Dwight Howard - Tim Duncan

Only players that aren't long time Spurs for me are J.R. Smith (part of the DH trade) and Jason Terry (who's on his last legs.) Amazingly enough I've managed to make the playoffs every year through Kawhi, Duncan, Bargnani, and Ginobili. As much as it sucks to lose Kawhi (he's in the high 80's, bringing in Dwight Howard should give us one last chance at a title.)

So, so far with my Bulls I just can't score. Without Rose it's hard to put the ball in the basket. Boozer is ok, but not as a first option and occasionally I get hot with Nate Rob, but other than that it's tough.

Don't know if I'll be able to last until the all-star break when I'm gonna bring rose back.

I think I may look into acquiring a cheap shot creator with only a year or two left to try to stay competitive until Rose is back.

Re: NBA 2K12: The Official Association/Online Association Thread

Just started a new one yet again with the Spurs. This time I decided to keep it realistic from the get go and play the games out. Starting lineup's about as close as I could get it to real life. I'm doing 5 minute quarters on All Star, no sliders. I want it to be like I'm playing someone online but instead it's against the computer. 14 game season with a 12 game playoff, making it more of a football type schedule.

                                PG Tony Parker 37 MPG
SG Daniel Green 25 MPG (Gave him a 47 and 8 for his sig shot, but he's been really cold all season. Don't see myself trying to resign him.)
                                SF Kawhi Leonard 30 MPG
PF Boris Diaw 31 MPG (Seriously considering resigning him, he's willing and is a somewhat cheap option. Shoots well, defends, rebounds.)
C Tim Duncan 32 MPG (Recently resigned him to a 1 year 13 million dollar contract. Learned from the Spurs dynasty I simmed that he'll take less money the older he gets so there's no need to sign him to multiple years.)
6th Man Manu Ginobili 28 MPG (ROCKS)
7 Stephen Jackson 20 MPG (Made one 3 through 5 games I think, not happy with him at all.)
8 Gary Neal 12 MPG (Not a point guard, but he's shooting almost 60% from 3. Gave him 37 and 14 as a sig shot, looks just like his irl.)
9 Tiago Splitter 10 MPG (Solid minutes from him so far in the post.)
10 Matt Bonner 6 MPG (Awful, trying to get rid of him in the offseason.)
11 Patrick Mills 5 MPG (Hasn't hardly played, I have him as a prospect. I'll try and resign him depending on how he develops. I don't plan on using Neal as a PG next season, he's a natural instead offense 2. Parker's backup job is probably between Mills and Cory Joseph, depending on who I draft as well.)
12 DeJuan Blair 4 MPG (Actually been solid here in there when he's playing.)

Inactive: James Anderson (I've got him as a prospect. I'll probably end up picking up his option. His morale is adequate for someone who doesn't play and he's not that bad at a 66 rating with B potential. If I don't resign Green like irl, that leaves me with Ginobili who will be 35 next year. I guess I'll also have Gary Neal, but I see James Anderson being part of the future alongside Kawhi Leonard.)

Lost the first 4 games which is tough considering the season's 1/3 of the way over, but I did manage to just beat New Orleans.
