If I started an Online Association right now, would it use the most updated rosters? I started one a couple days ago and it didn't have any of the rookies.Comment

I need the opinion of you guys. I have both Evan Turner and Kobe on the same team. Currently I have Turner as my 6th man and lately he's been putting up stats as if he was a starter and I am thinking of either putting him in the starting lineup or leaving him as my primary scorer off the bench. If I do put Turner into the starting lineup I either have to put him in the Pg or Sg position. Sorry if this is long but who do you think is better suited for the Pg position, Kobe or Turner and why.Comment

Does anybody do Fantasy Drafting? I'm the warriors and just let my coach do the entire draft. My starting five are J. Nelson, S. Curry, Joe Johnson, J. Hickson, and R. Lopez. I'm weak up front, but Curry and Johnson are hard to stop. I like the fantasy better because the league has more parity. Also I use the Serpentine method so every team has a shot a decent player every two rounds.Comment

Fixed is just like the NFL draft. Same order every round IIRC.Comment

Re: NBA 2K12: The Official Association/Online Association Thread
I just started the playoffs in year 3 of my Wizards Association. I only play a few regular season games and sim the rest and I'm playing every playoff game. I had the 1st and 3rd picks in the first offseason so I was able to get Andre Drummond and Anthony Davis. My current lineup looks like this:
PG: Wall (90)/Ashton Gibbs (70)
SG: Young (75)/C. Brewer (72)
SF: Davis (84)/ D. Wright (75)
PF: Drummond (83)/ Blatche (75)
C: McGee (80)/ Drummond
I have a very good offensive lineup. Wall can penetrate and give Drummond and McGee a lot of easy looks. They both have around 95 dunk ratings so they can dunk on anybody. Davis is our best offensive post player and at 6'10 he always has a height advantage over other small fowards. Young and Davis are both great shooters spotting up and off the dribble. Our perimeter defense isn't great, but with Drummond and McGee behind them, along with Davis, we block a lot of shots around the rim. We have solid depth at every position except center but thats because we start both of our centers.
We have the 3rd seed in the East this year and play the 91 ovr Bulls in the first round. My goal is to at least make the conference finals this year. With all the potential of this team I'm expecting to win the championship easily in year 4. I have every player locked up for the next 3 years except Wall, but he is a restricted free agent this year and we will have $29 million in cap space to match any offer he gets. This is a really fun team to use and I'm expecting to win multiple titles in this Association.Comment

Re: NBA 2K12: The Official Association/Online Association Thread
So in my Hornets association Im trying to find a PG who can score, but also dish the ball to EJ, I prefer a PG who is going to attack the rim and open the floor up that way (a la D.Rose (I have a HUGE man crush on Rose)) anyways...
So these are my two options-
1. Use my first rounder from the T.Wolves to get Kemba Walker from Charlotte, he would bring great intangibles/fill the seats in New Orleans for sure, and can definitely bring his own offense....I only worry about his size
or
2. Get Jerryd Bayless (Yes I know he was in NO for like a month last season, but whatever...) IMO he is basically a poor mans version of Rose/Westbrook, and has better size...but at the same time his ratings aren't as high as Kemba's though
So should I take Kemba and have an immediate Elite PG, or Bayless and work him into a D.Rose clone?Comment

Re: NBA 2K12: The Official Association/Online Association Thread
Hey guys, so I have been playing as the Heat in my offline association and Im lovin it. So far I am 6-2 and I have made only one trade:
Miami gets: Kenneth Faried
Denver gets: Mike Miller and 2 first round picks
Plugged Faried in at the PF and he has responded with averaging 8 rebounds a game, really liking this kid.
Lebron is being Lebron, averaging 29.1 ppg (just played at Cleveland, went 39 pts 8 reb 9 assists). Surprisingly, I play VERY well with Eddy Curry, when he is in, good stuff happens.
I think I may try and get a SG to come off the bench with some scoring ability, but I do not have much to work with.Comment
