I signed up as DirtyMachete and on the last step it said it couldn't connect to the servers. Somehow I still got the email and verified it. Now though if I go to anything that needs online it takes me to the account creation screen. Any ideas?

"weezbaby241" is not showing up in the database, what is your e-mail?

So for those that ARE verified, when you go to the online screen for NBA 2K12, are you being taken to the account creation screen?
