Shot base: 3. It seems basic enough Jump a bit forward not much lift at all. Land solid on both feet.

      I went with 72 and 21.

My current shot on 2K12 is - Release: 71, Base: Arenas
Its funny I didn't see that you gave yourself that shot until I went to do your shot.

72 and 71 are very similar and you know your shot better than I. 71 has more of a load and **** than 72. I never saw that in any of your shots.

I gave you 21 on the base due to the leg shift in the air and when you land the leading leg in front. Not sure if you are compensating due to the shot being of distance or not.
From what i saw the legs landing apart is what makes me pick 21.

Thanks, I'll give those a look. Yeah, the forward jump and more lift/kick with my legs was due to the distance of some of the shots. I generally jump forward VERY little on my shot; I sometimes even tend to fade.

I need a high elavation jump base that creates space/distance without it being a fade. I am using Ray Allen release with Jump 24. Base 24 has great elavation, but it lessen space between defender and jumps forward alot. I need a jumper to go with Ray Allen Release that would create space between jumper, but is still quick.

Re: My Player Signature jumpshot reference thread

I know I posted a video before, but I've improved and made my jumpshot overall more efficient. It'd be great to hear what jumpshot this would be in 2k12.

Oh and I know a lot of you play basketball too so any tips to improve my jumpshot even more would be really helpful

I know a lot of us are making MyPlayer's that somewhat mimic our play styles. In doing that we try to create our own likeness and jumpshot. I was thinking, if we can post videos of our jump shot, and have someone else perspective on your shooting style. Sometimes someone else's opinion is greater than your own.

                  Here is mine:

                  Shooting Form:
                  Shot Base:
                  Fadeaway:

Let's see if this catches on!
Shot form looks like Chris Kaman on the spot up.
Base looks like Kobe with the leg kick.
                  Fade looks like Durants.

Form and Base looks like Rip Hamilton.

If you want to improve your shot, you could possible extend your shooting arm further out upon your release. Otherwise it's all about repetition.

Thanks man, I've been trying to extend but it just seems the shots get too powerful. But I'll try it out along with the rip Hamilton shot

What is a release that has a follow through with both hands? Me and my unorthodox shot... Thanks.
