Frame rate slowing down in My Player?

I've only noticed this in My Player, but there are times when the frame rate stutters badly, especially in the paint. This hasn't happened when I've played regular exhibition games or NBA's greatest, but it's becoming quite frequent in My Player.

Anyone else experience this?

yup me too, I thought it had something to do with the disc loading so i installed the game on my xbox360 hard drive, that's supposed to speed everything up noticeably.... and still im having this same issue, it happens quite often....

and supposedly scientists will tell you that human eyes can't tell the diference between 30fps and 60fps, and i can tell you right now they're morons because it's very easy to see when it starts stuttering, the standard in todays consoles everything should be running at 1080p or 720p but nothing less than a constant 60fps

I've noticed it as well. It's definitely not as bad as 2K10 at release, but it's still a little frustrating.

I had this just start happening today, but in Association.. It was working fine in all the other games I had played, but now it is nearly unplayable. Its pretty frustrating....

If everymode played as smooth as Greatest Mode, game would be a 10, minus online, but right now with that skating on D online, and the myplayer framerate, it can't be a 8.0

It's in Association too? Damn.

Makes it much more difficult to time releases.. I tried installing it but still happening. I guess if the game is the problem maybe I can take it back to walmart and get a new one....?

No matter what copy you get, there's going to be slowdown because it's not the disk that's a problem, but the game itself. I remember 2K boasting how they couldn't even play 2K11 in the office anymore because 2K12 played so smoothly. Funny thing is I never encountered this kind of slowdown in last years game.

Nope, never had a problem with frame rate in 2K11. I honestly like 2K12 gameplay better then 2K11, but c'mon how am I supposed to play the game like this???

well here it goes. I had the same frame rate issue with my phat PS3. My brother plays it on his slim PS3 no frame rate issue whatsoever... So Could it be just on the phat PS3?

i noticed this today on my xbox360 version thought it was just a bad load so i simmed my game and started next game on my schedule in association. nope still there. very frustrating

Same here for myplayer. Have an xbox 360. There will be a hiccup some point in a game where it lags pretty good and then it stops and never happens again. Has happened once everyday so far i had the game. Thank god its not every game but still shouldn't happen even once if you ask me.
