      Actually, this is manifestly untrue. Overheating of your processor can indeed, and often will, lead to games acting abnormally.

      Not necessarily saying that is the case here, but you can have a lot of fun in games by removing the heatsink from your CPU for short bursts for example.

      Mind you, this may quickly turn into expensive fun.

        Yeah, but then your screen would turn pretty colors, and the audio would go wonky.

        I can't believe that the op ACTUALLY thought that this was seriously a possibility to the extent that he posted about it. This may belong on the pantheon of dumbest threads/questions on the internet. I know there have been worse out there... somewhere, but I don't think I've seen it.
