I'd much rather have the real sneakers in their various colorways, I don't care about nikeid or customizing kicks, just do it like NBA live and give us like 300 sneakers and they're colorways and I'm sure everybody would be happy.

The only problem with that is then when guys get traded in associations and My Players, you're stuck with guys rocking green shoes and whatnot after being on the Celtics, while now playing with the Clippers or something. That was annoying as hell in Live and it's annoying now in 2K not at least being able to edit guys in My Player to compensate for the accessories mistakes on 2Ks part.

Also, again, can somebody explain why the hell the Bulls black pinstripe alternates are not in this game....AGAIN? I think that's the most frustrating thing about all this because this isn't the first year that accessories are all jacked up (though have to give them credit for the improvements we did get this year) it's like this EVERY YEAR. Here's hoping things see drastic changes in the future.

You know. Some of the art from the game seems to be wrong on purpose so that they are fixed ("look we fixed them")... For example, the look of the Rockets version of Mario Elie is actually his Warriors look (and viceversa).

-Chicago Stadium...hummm, again.

- 1985 Antoine Carr with his 1998 look (yes with the shades included)?

-1985 Terry Cummings with his 2000 look?

Anybody heard or think 2k will implement all the things Sean has on the first post? I really hope they do cuz it really sucks not having correct color of equipment for players... It drives me nuts!!

That is something that was in the wishlist and that several people, including me wanted to see: all the classic teams should have all their jerseys, including past jerseys.

Would love to see the pinstripes from 96, but also the all black from 98 fro the Bulls. Also would like to see the 95 black w/ white pisntripe for the Magic (yes they used them occasionally as their road jersey during the 1994-95 regular season).

LD2K said he'll forward this thread to team, so at least it's more than nothing. Last year after insisting a lil bit, the 2k insider changed wrong sock/shoe colors and wrong shoe brands in some players. Knowing that this year we don't have 2K insider or roster updates, I don't know what is gonna happen with this.

Should ask them about fixing the HD 2011 and the Jordan retro colorways.
Edit: the Lebron 8 need to be redone along with the zoom Kobe 5. We really need a full on shoe editor next year..

For whoever may be interested, Eric Boenisch have just answered a couple of questions I made:

1. Since a lot of people are asking for this, do you guys have some plan on updating Nike iD to allow us making 2 different color combinations of the same shoe for a player?Home and away shoes are needed!

EB said not for this year, It will keep the way it is now.

2. Are new shoes only gonna be realeased through Nike iD or will they also be available to edit them the traditional way (base, team color 1 and team color 2)?

EB said new shoes will be released both ways: some through Nike iD, and some available to edit them as we always did.

I also asked him about the possibility of team color updates but I couldn't get an answer.

So here's an idea. Minor little suggestion, not a deal breaker or anything and yes, I'm sure there's someone who doesn't care, but bear with me.

Since 2K now has the ability to make these updates to courts and jerseys and all the art in the game, how about doing updates for team patches on jerseys during the year. For example, last season the Bulls wore patches on the right side of their jerseys to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of the team's first championship, that was no where to be seen on the jerseys in 2K11 and I can understand why not. I assume because it's something that will only be there for that one season and guys would have been in associations stuck with them. What if we have the default jerseys however and then a seperate jersey that's pretty much the default one, but those patches can be added to this one so that the default 1 jerseys can be switched to at any point in someone's association?

Well, if Ronnie checks this thread, then here you go:

Colorblocking and detailing on the shoes were horrible in NBA 2K11.

I'm not sure how you mess up one of the most vital parts of Jordan's legacy in a game dedicated to Jordan's legacy. I hope they get it right this time.

You couldn't recreate classic Jordans such as:





I'm still confused as to why we weren't allowed to edit the color of the soles. No patent leather because the artists didn't think to include that texture.





The iconic shoe that started it all. Banned by the league.









You couldn't convincingly make any of the Jordan III colorways (except for maybe the Fire Reds) because they lacked the iconic cement/elephant print and the color blocking didnt allow for it.

Bordeaux VII and Aqua VIII. Both worn by MJ in All Star games. Some of the most unique non-Bulls colorways of the 90's. These are really popular with the newer generation because of that. I was disappointed these couldn't be recreated for use in My Player.

Well, if they decide to fix AJ color combinations they should also fix some more shoes...the first one that comes to my mind is AdiZero Rose 2.0.

Look at the hex knee pads please update that to.... Rose, Stat, Pierce, Rondo, Mayo, Matt Barnes, etc its a long list of players that wears them... Also its in the game PS3 and 360
