Seeing how this seems to be the only forum where you can find 2k devs posting.. I'd like to list some of the issues I have with the game. But seriously why hasn't this been posted on the 2k forums? YOUR OWN FORUMS lol.

- 3's sliders need to be toned down to a 47.

- on ball defense online is absolutely horrible, anticipation might work against the computer, but playing against turbo zig zaggers is a nightmare.. Make LT trigger function the way it did in 2k11.

- otfc is a mess... Up d PAd for camera is useless, bring back coaching sliders, defensive matchups, quick screen, pick n roll, but leave the post up " insert specfic player" .

- this new animation where an on-ball defender shades you to one side and grabs a hold of you , leaving you completely immobile has to be taken out...

- shooting has been completely dummied down.. It seems like everyone has the same release point but a different form. 2k11's shooting was challenging and rewarding only flaw was some players had broken jumpers ( curry, matthews, KG)

- steal success rate could be toned down a bit as well..

- passing is slow n sluggish.. Defense AI is able to make super human deflections at a drop of a dime.

- the biggest problem as you prolly guessed is your freaking SERVERS!!! Something you've known about for years , but keep neglecting!!!!

I'm prolly missing a few things, but for now the issues I listed are top priority if you want online to succeed. All in all I really do want 2k12 to succeed online seeing how thats the game mode where I spend most of my time playing. I do hope you guys at 2k are able to address some of the problems hinderiing it's online capabilities..

the Online Setting for "SHOOTING TYPE" I think is automatically set on "SHOT STICK TIMING" and not "REAL PLAYER %"

while I am doing better against all the 3's, IT IS STILL OUT OF CONTROL and it is totally ruining the Online Experience because some guys are just ABUSING IT! It is just no way guys should be shooting 45-50% from 3

yeah yeah people will say "YOU SHOULD DO THIS AND YOU SHOULD DO THAT" regardless the ONLINE play need to be fixed, even the PASSING IS BAD, WAY TOO MANY INTERCEPTION OF PASSES by the "ON THE BALL DEFENDER", that is just not real, how many times have you seen a guy guard a guy up close and just CATCH THE BALL when he tries to pass lol

50 is just so high. Most players online settle for 3point jumpers now because it's money out there. It looks like they're all using orlando magic team ).

playing against CPU is totally different because they don't abuse the 3pt.

i think the perfect will be 48 against CPU and 47 in player vs player.
If we can only have one i think 48 is better.

Especially in my player or nba create a legend mode where we can't adjust the sliders... CPU will shoot over 50% from 3s during the course of a game(on HOF)... So yeah, it definitely needs to be, JUST SLIGHTLY, toned down for offline play

beluba. leave it where it is. i think the idea of the user getting "punished" playing offball defense is the culprit here.

i would add a setting in onball defense called "take away shot" or "overcontest" or "crowd jumper" or "crowd" or "extreme". the idea in this setting is that when this setting is chosen, the a.i. logic will be to take away the jump shot at all costs meaning they will hustle to get a good hands up contest or a block on every jumper. the balance is that the defender will be easier to pumpfake and drive by. a good defender will more likely hands up contest while bad defenders will fall for pumpfakes. basically, if someone wants to force jumpers, you can balance it out by forcing your defense to take away jumpers.

if a person's whole game plan is to pick ray allen and shoot off the dribble 3's the whole game and i set the defense to "onball/tight" with my defensive intensity set at 100, my hope would be that the defense would take away his jumpshot forcing him to drive. but online with the difficulty not being set to HOF, ray allen can still just dribble back and forth and get enough space for an uncontested jumper which is "money" for him.

also playing onball defense, the hands up contest isnt strong enough and its slow to trigger at times.

in conclusion, the defensive weakness of the A.I. logic combined with the lag of the hands up shot contest is whats really causing the abuse of the 3pt shot. hope this helps.

3pt is overpowered in the game. Need to tune down sliders arggg. In my player, CPU once shot over 60% on me (more than 10 attempts)

Just played online ranked guy would come down the floor with Chrs Paul run to the 3 point line and shoot. He stayed close doing that all game. One went in over Chris Anderson lock down right stick D right in his face.
When you cant stop what you know is coming there is a problem.
The game should be about options.If the D does this I do that If they do this I go here. Right now 95% of people are shooting 3's no matter what they see from the defense.

I could have lost the game if just 2 more 3's had fell. I shot 50% from the floor and had 30 points in the paint. He shot 40% from 3 (rediculous when all Im trying to do is stop it). He took 35 three pointers and had 4 points in the paint. He wouldnt even take fast break dunks he would run to the corner and shoot 3's. This is the kind or moron that should lose by 30.

Ranked games always gives a good ideas of game's flaws. There is a reason you see everyone taking 3's. A wide open 3 is still not a wide open lay-up btw.

this hasn't been a problem for me online because people are still paint ball me to death but offline I just adjust the sliders. My player is where its really a problem

There is a major flaw in the way shots are contested. Nothing matters except the right stick. Its soo flawed I have even blocked shots and had them fly away then change course in mid air in order to go in. The shot outcome had been decided before I blocked the shot.

Ive seen this happen multiple times.

Holy ****! I'm glad you did get a video because if you just said it I'd have had a hard time believing it.

I think ive had that happen to me before....I remember blocking a 3 only to have it go in. I didnt bother looking at the replay but I bet this is what happened...

not a good example. this happens in real life all the time. if you wouldve got there .5 secs earlier, it would have been a block. you got there too late. just missed it tho.
